Very prudent. I'm spending money on stuff (for various projects) which companies on lock-down may not be able to get to over the next few months ...

... whilst at the same time thinking that it might well become available "dirt cheap" when companies take a downturn ...

Final invoice now received and to my relief it has the PIG applied. Delivery not until the 30th so I think I will hold off payment till the end of the week or Monday morning to see how the world unfolds over the next few days and see how likely it is that the delivery is going to happen on schedule.

I will also state for anyone else on the Glovis Captain - I've just called up to confirm they received my deposit payment and they were able to confirm my registration number.

No text/email, but after a chat today confirmed my name was the named driver from the leasing company. this hasn't been updated at Leeds SC though, but head office confirmed I'm listed. Like i said, still don't have it in-writing but got my reg plate for 26th pickup

Is it fair to presume that will push collection dates further back? 25th at Dartford is not looking optimistic!

Pushed mine back from March 24th to March 31st, thinking the 24th might be optimistic given the late docking of the ship.

Just rang up Tesla, they asked for RN and my name, confirmed the initial collection date and I then asked if I could move it. He said yes by up to 7 days. He then updated their system and confirmed the new date.

Haha! It’s actually not been too bad! We have been really lucky and staying on top of the carnage the best we can! We’ve got all different teams pulling together to make sure deliveries are a priority J


I have everything crossed nothing affects the ships coming in to ports too!

How late is everyone leaving it to do the CHAPS transfer. Pickup not exactly essential travel is it! Disaster if they take your cash and you can't get the car.
