From what a Tesla rep explained to me this morning when I brought that up is that the VIN shows on the website "until" a delivery date is scheduled. Then it will disappear until the delivery date is within 5 days in which it will populate on account again. Your MVPA will show the VIN still.Well, today just continues to go down hill. First I find out that the 16th was not a real date, and they are saying the 26th. And now my VIN no longer shows up on the website.......
Good times.
You’ve got me beat by four hoursAparker42 our M3's must be on the same truck. Delivery time is 2pm for me. You?
I changed to home delivery since it is during early afternoon. AZ model 3 club maybe. Usually not my think but I'm geeking out on this carYou got 16th too... I might see you there
ordered 11/28. assigned date 12/17 two days ago. got vin today. no contact from adviser. hopeful. raleigh, nc.
any idea if using my bank financing is any more risky in closing than using tesla financing ?[/QUOTE
You should use the financing that gives you the best rate and don’t forget to check your credit unions. They should be much more competitive than the banks.
Agreed, they are trying to string us along so we dont bail because its becoming obvious they wont meet the dec 31 deadline.
I received a text from a DA in Las Vegas to upload my insurance information, even though I already did. The Tesla website was down so I ended up emailing my insurance information to the DA. My scheduled delivery date is 12/14 between 6pm and 8pm, but I requested a delivery center pickup option. I am waiting back on my request. I do see a VIN number on my account page, but I don't see a MVPA. When will get this agreement? My credit union needs this document to fund my loan.
I believe the latest you will receive the MVPA is 24-48 hours prior to delivery
My delivery has been scheduled for tomorrow, 8am. After numerous call and emails, they were finally able to upload my MVPA around 2pm today. That left me about 3 hours to open an account, do all the paperwork, and secure loan with my CU, which is about 2 hrs of driving away from my home.
Still can't believe I went from messed up Tesla account -- sounded like they ignored all my changes after initial application for a loan with them -- to being ready for delivery, all within a day, but apparently it's possible
Just keep bugging your IDA(s) until they do complete their part, especially if you feel you're running late with your financing.
