Hi guys, long time no talk! I’ve had my new 3 for about 3 months now. I started noticing these random white patches in my ambient lighting. Do any of you know what this is? Is it cracked? Have other people experienced this?
Hello everyone! Long time no talk too! Came back here to show this weird new issue I got with my ambient lighting alignment. I've had my M3 for a month now and my ambient was perfectly aligned on day of delivery. Just about 2 days ago I notice it becoming unaligned. The only explanation I came up with is that the weather has gotten pretty hot on the day I noticed the misalignment. Wth do I do with this? I tried nudging the door to realign it but I don't have enough force.
Attached image is a pic of ambient light alignment on Delivery day and second is the one taken today with the misalignment.

As for your post, Sydney, I got my windows tinted too and have not noticed any discoloration in my light. Looks like maybe water or something got into your light strip?

It has nothing to do with how you pay. Besides that guess, nobody really knows the inner workings and Tesla's delivering process. However, it's ok to give them feedback like this showing frustration and ask questions.
I agree. Shouldnt matter at all. But im also cash 24th no delivery in sight lol

Omg I think I’m doing this I found one for immediately pick up
But it’s a blue with white interior M3P doesn’t qualify for tax credit but little cheaper cause it’s a demo
So it’s 4,000 more then the gray one I’m waiting for and I can’t wait any longer I feel,,,,
Worried about it being demo but only 35 miles on it 😬

How is it only $4K more if you are losing a $7,500 credit?

Ordered on Monday and took delivery last night of a LR M3. I was planning to buy an M3P but with the newly announced tax credit this made the decision easier. Coming from a 2019 Model 3 LR, this car is amazing. The ride quality and noise level is noticeably better. It feels like a real luxury car now.

The delivery center in Irvine was chaotic. My fifteen minute delivery appointment took three hours. The usual Tesla dysfunction. They did not want to let me see the interior of the car until I paid for it. After a few choice words to their general manager they changed their mind. Fortunately the car was in perfect condition. No paint issues or panel gaps.

The trade in offer was $500 below their estimate which kind of annoyed me. After multiple phone calls they told me it was because I had curb rash on one wheel. So I said fine, I’ll include a brand new wheel and tire in the trade in. So they increased my offer by $100. LOL. Gotta love Tesla.

That was literally the exact opposite of my delivery in late March. The Naperville (Lisle) delivery center was cool and efficient. My new Model 3 LR was parked right outside the showroom so I was able to do a complete exterior inspection before even going in. Was greeted as soon as I walked up, and they had no problem with me doing an interior inspection before handing over my check. They never even looked at my 2019 Model 3 SR+, which had curb rash on multiple wheels, and gave me full trade-in value. Fifteen minutes in and out the door. Just shows how different the Tesla experience can be depending on the center.
