This thread is impressive in its speed.

Both of my orders now have EDD.

My Plaid has a EDD of Dec 3-Jan 2
My LR has an EDD of Mar 5 - Aprl 2

The longer this takes, the more I am on the fence about Plaid/LR. Both are with 10k discount, the LR is quite the deal in that case. Also, I'm tempted to wait longer on the Plaid delivery to get into 2022. At this point, whats a little bit longer?
Your Plaid should be a 2022 if it's delivered Dec 3-Jan 2.

The way this crazy used car market is going we might be able to sell our pre-refresh X for more than a refresh X costs us! Sales tax does escalate the friction costs however.

Yea the used car market is really nuts. On EV-CPO, There are 4 2018 Model X P100Ds with 25k+ miles selling for $105k-$109k. The one selling for $105K has 58,824 miles and doesn't even have the nice 22" wheels. Yup a 2018 with 58k miles (1 year/10k miles of warranty) for $105K. Insanity !! For $15k more, a 2022 X Plaid with 0 miles.

There are also 4 2018 Model S P100Ds for over $100K; one of them has 31,793 miles for $101K. At least it has FSD and the 21" wheels ha.

Yikes!!!! I would say that's insane!! But we all know it to be plaid?

For those of you following my accident situation, I finally met with an appraiser today. No surprises. He said it's law that a bumper with side sensors has to be replaced in a collision. Repainting it isn't even legal. He wrote up a replacement for both bumper assemblies and the trunk lid repair. I'm convinced the lid got tweaked sideways. The bottom panel gap is no longer even, and when the lid auto closes, the right side jumps up right before settling and locking. I'll be pursuing that as much as possible. I also asked about ceramic coating replacement, but I don't know if that will be covered.

He also told me I am most likely not going to get any depreciation claim, because this will be considered a minor repair, which usually does not depreciate the vehicle. I'll have to investigate this more before I am satisfied.

I also found out I cannot take him to small claims court to recover the deductible, if necessary, or any other expenses. I have to file in civil court, which has a $406 processing fee, plus I have to pay someone to serve him. This is something else I am keeping on my radar, in case anything is not covered. I have three years to file in civil court, and two years to complete the car repairs.

This thing is going to turn into a long term nightmare if I'm not made whole by my insurance company. People suck.

Yes............litigation is a nightmare unless you are a lawyer, and it probably sucks then also. Don't know about RI, but here in Indiana, it'll probably cost you in excess of $12K to get a lawyer (a good one anyway) to represent you in civil court as you can't represent yourself as you could in small claims. When lawyers are involved in any way, it's usually BOHICA time. And if that's the case, you may as well get your colonoscopy at the same time if you're due?

I'm new here (a bit of a lurker, actually) but thought I'd post since it seems unusual. I have a RN1150 with an early June order date and, after being blank for a verrrry long time, my account now shows an EDD of March 14 - April 11.

From the other RN1150s I've read on here, mine seems quite a bit behind. Not sure why that is. I ordered the base white/black/19s.

Well looks like some of you were correct about getting the car much earlier than my last quoted date - my EDD has now updated to January 20 - February 17 for the time being. Crossing my fingers I can get it in Q4 this year, even though that seems like a long shot at the moment.

I’ll serve him for free

Since we're flying way off topic on this thread to streaming recommendations, I can't resist offering two recommendations from Netflix: White Lotus and Mare of Easttown.

Also, I loved Bosch on Bezos TV.

Now, back to our regularly scheduled EDD whining...
Bosch is amazing, and also concluded, so binge galore. Mare is new but very entertaining. I'll have to look into White Lotus as I have not seen that one.

I suspect that you'll very much enjoy White Lotus. Just force yourself through the first episode with the knowledge that 80% of the time is spent making you cringe.

Finally my Plaid was delivered! I am overall happy with the experience, but with a few glitches:
(1) I live about 15 miles from the Fremont plant, and they scheduled in-home delivery, which I appreciate. What I didn't expect is someone driving the car to me. My first Tesla was also delivered but with a delivery truck.
(2) Their delivery estimate was 2am-4am (LOL!). I waited the whole day and they ended up delivering around 10am the next day.
(3) I got the Pirelli P Zero summer tires. I guess I did not explicitly request all-season, and maybe in Northern California it is OK
(4) I found a few minor trim misalignments. The largest one I requested a Tesla Service appointment to fix. Tesla got back to me questioning the need to fix this (but the appointment is still on). I am attaching photos, what do people think, is it worth fixing? This is a top-down view of the gap between the trunk and back light. On one side they are perfectly aligned but on the other they are not.

Aside from these issues, I LOVE the car. Also I LOVE the yoke and I prefer it over the standard driving wheel. It feels very natural. I don't particularly like the touch buttons for the blinkers but I am guessing after a week I will be very used to them.

Anyone that has picked up their car have Bluetooth issues?

I noticed my Bluetooth is a bit laggy. If I watch a video on YouTube, the audio lags 1-2 seconds behind the video. I tested this out on my Model Y and I don’t have this issue.
Anyone else have this problem?
Is the video low res? The audio not matching up with the video is a youtube issue. This happens to me on my PC, and sometimes on my smart TV, even though other streaming services are synced up. Even when things like Netflix is streaming low res, due to poor bandwidth, the audio is still synced.

Maybe a software issue with Youtube. See if any other streaming services give you the same issue.
