Yeah, good call. Let’s stay away from the overly descriptive, not particularly respectful worm thing style posts from a few months back. At least if a kid read our dumb 8th grade humor, we could still (mostly) explain it away.

Yeah, there’s a lot of walks of life in here and it should be respectful to all of them. I’m not sure what or where the line is. But like I mentioned recently the Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart’s quote, its’s like pornography…I don’t know how to explain it, but I know it when I see it.
It’s a good sentiment.

I like the walnut in my Plaid; it’s one of the few things not broken!
Damn, unfortunately I just notice my rear passenger door wood is actually somewhat coming off. I forgot until you just mentioned that.

Okay, enough fun and innuendos…. I was back on the Tesla ordering site looking at Plaid EDDs. I selected a configuration I might want (just for fun, not real) and the EDD was December 2021, like now! Still pushing year end inventory, I guess!

Like midnight, Pacific, knowing Tesla. There’s no year end, or EOQ push though….
Took delivery 29/12.
Plaid 2022, Red & Black, 21" wheels, no FSD
Just for update history, ordered car from available stock, my SA was dump (was confirmed upon delivery) to even notice that in my area there is car that match order.
SoCal, we had rains for last week and just today they stopped! My car is dry and I finally did inspection at home...... yeah this is right, I accepted delivery under rain, without allowing me to inspect car inside. So stupid and bad customer experience working within tesla.
Anyway, even quick exterior walk around reveled misaligned hood, and right headlight. It was pretty visible, but SA said before - car is perfect! He consider us idiots ?
Rest was identified today:
- interior - few minor scratches
- interior one led does not work
- right rear door slightly misaligned
Some things, I fixed by myself
What I would not complain and was near perfect
- interior trim, quality, alignments.
- exterior paint
- all glass alignments.
In general, impression is very positive, car is rocket - literally. Quality of material is higher than spouse RX has. Yoke is not a problem lol.
Wish everyone to get their MS soon, in next year

Elon never said there would be no push, he said they are working to reduce it. It is important to keep those distinctions in mind:Like midnight, Pacific, knowing Tesla. There’s no year end, or EOQ push though….
