Hey folks I just received a call from Tesla offered me a model S built prior to latest refresh so no lights but quick delivery and 4500 off by current price anyone have any thoughts or have seen this offer before

I would pass unless you absolutely need car now. There may have been some manufacturing improvements related to the line shutdown beyond the handful of changes we are all aware of.

I like the old rear end and this new one is, well, new, and different. I like it also, as I will most likely think the next one will be nice. At some point we have to be happy with what we have. I’m a very happy refreshed 1.0 Plaid owner. Incredibly happy actually. BTW, Most rear ends make me smile.

I've heard that there are in fact changes underneath the skin; stuff we can't see on the outside. It should all be quite minor, but really good to have.

According to the tesla-info.com inventory tool there are 20 refresh 2.0 cars available in inventory in the US. I'm taking delivery of one of them on the 18th.
