I ordered 1/12, confirmed 1/15, no VIN yet. 75d, solid black, premium black interior, carbon fiber, 21 inch wheels, premium, enhanced autopilot. Destination Rocklin CA. I wonder if there is a production priority for type of Model S, and destination? I also wonder if certain options cause delays in VIN assignments and production scheduling based on sourcing challenges?

Will do!!! Thank you! My husband has a random orbital sander that he SAYS won't leave swirls and he waxed his black Expedition with (he says) no swirls. I do think I am going to have the Opti-Coat Plus Pro put on the car before I even take it home from picking up at the dealership, tho. Probably won't wax but still good to know you can make a car look that great with waxing it! (I'm too lazy to wax, tho....)

I’m guessing this is the case. I ordered a solid black 75D w premium black interior with ash, dark headliner, 19” wheels and EAP.

Ordered 1/27
Confirmed 1/30
VIN 1/31

Obie, that is great, if your timeline actually plays out that way!
Are you sure they said DELIVERY on Feb. 24th or is that production date? (In my case, I was confirmed on Dec. 14 and my production date is Feb.19th.)
I am in TN so it'll take a week or so, (according to my DS,) for my car to get from CA to TN. Of course, I have also been told that the production date of Feb. 19th could be moved up a week (2/12) or back a week (2/26,) which is not uncommon. So, my timeline sounds similar to yours!
It's so interesting to try to figure out when you're going to get THAT call.....(you know...THAT call when you know for sure your car is on its way!) Keep us posted!!!!
Delivery appointment is 24 Feb "tentative". DS emailed again this weekend confirming. I fully expect it to slip but I do think it is possible and hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

Re: Accessories
I've already bought a dead pedal off Ebay.
Trying to decide on mats. I'm probably going with Llyod's Luxe carpet mats (have a bunch of their samples) or if I go more heavy duty I'll get the Maxpiders. I wonder what the tan Maxpiders would look like on cream? Leaning towards the Llyod's carpet though. I'll stick with the Tesla WeatherTech mats for the cargo spaces.
I'm likely going to get one of Norm's cubby drawers and the Abstract Ocean puddle lamps.
I plan on getting the car partially wrapped and coated.

I've been dragging my feet installing a 50 amp circuit in the garage but am lucky as I already have a subpanel out there. I also have an unused 30 amp dryer outlet just inside the house that I already built an adapter for. I'll do it my self just need to find the time and decide if I want a wall charger or just put in a 50amp outlet.

Ok, Obie: Now more questions for you!! LOL. I do so hope your car is going to be delivered on 24 Feb. That is so exciting!!!
So here are my questions about accessories: What is a dead pedal?
As for mats.....what is the difference or advantage to the Lloyds or Maxpiders vs Weather Tech?
I have Weather Tech in all of our vehicles and love them but I'm open to suggestions.
I will also tell you I have a friend who bought the "cubby drawers" and he doesn't use them and wishes he had not purchased them. I don't know exactly why.

The model S used to come with a dead pedal. It is a pedal on the lower left floorboard where your left foot rests. It is bare carpet now, some mats will cover it like the Maxpiders. Here is the same one I got on EBay, they are Chinese knockoffs.

I'm leaning towards the Llyods Luxe carpet mats, they are much more plush and slightly bigger then the stock mats. They will send samples out if you ask.

LUXE Floor Mats

Lots of threads here on the Maxpiders, they are quite a bit more robust then the Weather Techs.

Norm is a member here and his drawers get pretty good reviews. Curious what your friend didn't like about them. Flying out perhaps?

UPDATE: Got an e-mail form my delivery specialist, my model s is scheduled for production week of Feb 12th. Things are picking up...

(Ordered Jan 11th, Conf. Jan 14th Vin Jan 24th)

What are you vehicle specs and configuration if you don't mind me asking?
Trying to figure out if there's a correlation between vehicle specs/config and how/when VINs get assigned.
