Ordered an S100D on March 9, confirmed the 13th with VIN assigned shortly thereafter. I’m taking delivery in Fremont so I can take the factory tour. I’m hoping for a May 31 delivery.
You should confirm with Efraim no to apply for financing until you enter production. You don’t want your credit check being run twice. Loan commitments are usually good for only 30 days. Someone should be contacting you when it’s time.
That is so awesome that you are able to take a tour of the facility and take delivery of your car. On top of that a road trip home to break it in. Enjoy the experience.
Sorry - should have added for context that I wondered if this would impact delivery or production start of my S (why I posted in this thread).
My guess is we who have already ordered will get the figured ash, and this change affects orders from today. My reason is the ash is still offered on the two black interiors, so there must be supply on hand. I wouldn’t mind the oak to be honest.
I think the parts for cars are sourced early on, so the cars we ordered will be built according to the spec sheet on our owner’s page.
But who knows?

The article from Eletrek said all order including existing ones in pre-production would be switched to the new interior options starting today.. Yikes! I ordered cream premium with the carbon fiber so I think I'm ok.

I got an update as well. I guess the interior changes are occurring now, expect changes...

Agreed! Exactly my thoughts lol. I ordered around the same time as you all - 3/13. The only update I have been able to get is that they are expecting a mid-May production with a mid-June delivery.
I have the carbon fiber option so the only thing updated was the new trim. Still excited as ever!
