Picked up Monday the 29th.
What a machine. Just dripping in coolness. Delivery experience was a cinch. Matt my salesman at the Highland Chicago store was the best. Went thru everything in detail for me. This car is so much fun to drive. Now I know why the next gen seat backs/head rest look like theme park rollar coaster seats. They function the same way under max acceleration.

My 85D is amazingly quick. Are we sure this car is not putting down more than 422hp? Seems like I read somewhere that one forum member recorded 397kw, wouldn't that be closer to 500hp?, Thats more in line with what my seat of the pants dyno is telling me.

07/04/15 : Status, Production Complete, "Your Model S is in transit from the factory".
As per many on this forum, when the car goes BACK into the production queue, it usually just means that the car has finished the production part and is now waiting it's shipping details.
Now,,, I am waiting for my DES to fill in the details to me, on what type of transit and when to expect delivery.
All in All, not a bad way to celebrate the 4th of July!
