Delivery truck is at the Dania Beach store this morning. Not sure if he's dropping mine there or dropping it in Tampa still; either way it should be on schedule for delivery Tues/Weds as promised.

He's on the move again, heading for Alligator Alley so coming our way!

Neil at Tesla is the man! He is taking my delayed car issue by the reins and getting it done. Here it is, VIN 809 (Sig #371) in a lot at Tesla:

So the deal is they are taking the delayed cars and applying a "hot" sticker on them, allowing that car to get parts first so it can be expedited. They are only doing this on the Dreaded 28, who are being made about 200+ spots behind where they were suppose to be. They are still having small issues with suppliers, as they are short some parts (they have CF trim but it is in short supply), don't have other parts (parcel shelves, substantial floor mats, the new visors, and sun shades are all going to be due bill items for everyone). Mine above has no rear bumper, no interior other than the CF trim (?), and is awaiting water testing. I have to admit that as bummed as I've been about the delay, I was giddy to get this picture. Neil has been much better at communication, and they said I'll be getting updates daily on it. Seems like they are also going to expedite shipping, but that answer was a little foggier. All in all seems like Tesla is making an effort to get it right for those delayed!

I'm glad we found the correct e-mail address to get a response for you. I just shared it with a few others that have been getting no communication or responses about their tardy information and they are finding that the [email protected] address gets them what they need as well.

Happy to hear you are smiling again!

Are you the highest Sig number?
I'm certainly hoping they deliver closer to the front of that window than the end of it...both for your sake and mine, b/c I won't get my R77 until after you get your Sig.

I was upgraded to a Signature today[Oct 19th]. I have been on the waiting list for a while. I very excited. I am now S #1353.

My truck just crossed into Mississippi - getting closer! I'm debating between thanking and cursing the Tesla employee who gave me the tracking info.....

Looking good Keith!

Has your delivery specialist narrowed delivery to any particular "best guess" dates?

There is a Sig #1299 with a VIN (668) and reported delivery window of 10/20-11/2. Edit: As Larry pointed out, the highest sequence number we know for Sigs is 1353. I've been seeing some issues with TX law that's causing delays for deliveries there, so I wouldn't take that as guidance on when you'll see your R.

Since they just built the 1000th body this weekend and are at a rate of over 200 per week, that means you should be hearing from Tesla late next week or early the following week. They're almost out of Signatures to give delivery windows to!
