Wiki Model S Delivery Update

I still don't have my registration papers so that I can pick up my plates. They just expedited my delivery to coincide with the other Texas deliveries, I guess. I have no complaints, though! I just heard back from the Tesla admin and she asked if I had torn off the temporary CA permit from the last documents. I didn't see that in the instructions, but there's a lot to be confused about.

I had promised to post pictures but I'm tired (too excited to sleep last night!) and I'll wait for my son to do it this weekend. I "visited" my car in the garage tonight and found myself mindlessly humming "Isn't She Lovely?" How funny is that?!?!!?

The drivers are usually on a tight schedule (especially through year-end), but I would have enjoyed spending more time with my driver, Constantine. Anyone who has a car delivered by Constantine is VERY LUCKY! He was very nice and interesting, too. His daughter dates a pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates, so I can keep up with him in a way

Question - Why move the posts on delivery notification to another thread but timdoor's spreadsheet includes delivery notification data (top of this thread)? Is that consistent?

I will have not delivery specialist. I will only have a truck driver. Truck drivers generally don't drink wine. Some may. I hesitate to give a driver any alcohol at all (some of y'alls cars might still be on that trailer). Maybe a fruit cake since it is Christmas. I dunno. We will see ....

Took delivery of Sig 1179/VIN1045 today. I called yesterday and got rescheduled for today. Ben came through the Snoqualmie pass, and I met him in Ellensburg. We went over things rapidly (about 1.25 hours) because of severe weather moving into the pass, and I wanted to get Ben home safely and timely. Still got through everything (I would suggest reading the manual pre-delivery). Tipped with a bottle of Leonetti Cab and took off.

The car is as amazing as the test drive car except this one is mine. Very happy with the drive and the range. I started with only a projected range of 203. I made it 169 miles home and still had 113 miles on it. I was a little stingy with the climate control and light on the cruise control. Got home and barely missed the sunset. Here are some pics. The car is awesome and delivered.

P#130 Performance/Brown/Tan/Carbon Fiber/85W/21" Silver Wheels to be delivered to Arizona with delivery window 12/9-12/23. Finally! Just got the email. Looks like Telsa has financing available through both Wells Fargo and B of A. Also asked if I wanted the factory to install a front license plate holder (no for Arizona). Can't Wait!
