I ordered 19’s because I’m not paying $4500 for cast alloy when the old arachnids were forged and were $2k upgrade.
I’ll get my own 21’s that are forged for less than $4500 and use the 19’s in winter

Speaking of 19" rims for winter tires, has anyone figured out the narrowest tires that are acceptable on these?

This is the "ZeroG" wheel option rumored to arrive in the fall. Expecting over $7k though, so I'll likely go aftermarket.

Can’t even imagine the nightmare getting those wheels will be considering how the 19s are doing. Not even to mention getting the car itself

My wife got a VIN this morning for her Y and when she asked her SA about my Plaid, they told her it won't arrive until Oct-Dec, even though it says "August". More *sugar* from the SA? Her EDD said October but when she called her SA several days ago they told her her VIN would be assigned in a few days, and they were right. Sigh.

Case settled. Whether it is August 2021, December 2021 or 2022 and beyond is anyone guess. If a few sources are to be believed, we should begin seeing 19s late July and continue into August.

I am shopping for new insurance and so far, Progressive has the best quote. Does anyone know if Progressive covers PPF and ceramic coating?

October is what my SA said to me after the order page and the account told me June. It’s been just blank since. I’m surprised there’s no one here that knows someone important at Tesla for any sort of legitimate information

For what it is worth, most will cover it under a clause called "after market parts" or "custom coverage".

Looking at the specs it looks like the factory sizes are already maxed out on the rim width pretty much. You could mount a wider tire no problem but can't really go more narrow.

PPF is an addon and not part of your car cost indicated in MVPA. You may need to choose an option whether Insurance covers up to certain amount for accessories... Expect your rate to go up with these additionals.

Great spelling, but you do need some training on dependent and independent clauses.

That's not entirely true.. you need to select the option to cover accessories. Having receipts mean nothing to Insurance unless you have right coverage options selected.

Good luck. My recent experience with Progressive was different. If what they are saying helps you to meet your expectations, go for it.
