Yeah, basically a “cheapened” looking thick sticker!I know I was surprised too. The new Plaid badge is thinner and looks solid rather than 3D. Those that have the new super refreshed S’s can confirm.

Does it bother anyone else that the new headlights are over the old taillights, and the new taillights are under the old headlights in that photo display/tweet?
But it represents the refreshed refreshed S. So very special!Yeah, basically a “cheapened” looking thick sticker!
When I brought in wife’s MYP for HomeLink install (still annoyed this ‘basic’ feature was removed for a car at this price point), I mentioned a clip missing in the frunk. Both advisor and tech looked at each other then replied with a straight face ‘cost cutting’.Gotta love QC at Tesla factory. I discovered my 3 day old car had a loose driver door panel (was wondering why it was rattling). Disassembled the door panel and found it was only held by 2 out of the 4 screws that are supposed to be there.
At least the door panel is not rattling now...

The reason mine had 2 screws only was because the other screw holes were not lined up, see photo. That is due to panel not set correctly. Then whoever was supposed to put the screws in just decided to say *sugar* it...When I brought in wife’s MYP for HomeLink install (still annoyed this ‘basic’ feature was removed for a car at this price point), I mentioned a clip missing in the frunk. This is what i’m worried about. That’s an extremely old vin.Looks like Tesla pulled an old car for me . Is this old vin if I remember correctly
Calling NF470XX old is not quite accurate. It’s not as though it’s a MF430XX (the mules and overflow lot cars that sat for months in the sun apparently waiting for parts). It’s probably about a month old with the old headlights and tail lights. Cannot speak to the hinges. This is what i’m worried about. That’s an extremely old vin.
Nothing I can do about it , they are like take it or put a new orderThis is what i’m worried about. That’s an extremely old vin.

Exactly. I'd recommend taking the current offer for sure.To be fair, that's such a huge difference in price. While the new lights are obviously the greatest thing since sliced bread, that's a heap of change for lights...

Factory or SC managed Rebuild?Just very surprised they even had an NF470... the LRs have been backordered for yonks.

Heck, there’s nothing like a well build classic. Kind of like my wife!Who can say. I'd definitely look at a 470 with a hefty dose of skepticism.

Isn't that only if you have FSD beta?I'm under the impression that even if you have radar it is no longer being used.
But... how are her hinges?
Yes, that’s true.Isn't that only if you have FSD beta?
