Also for those that were wondering about insurance prior to delivery, I only uploaded my “current” insurance info with my previous vehicle info and the app accepted it. I’m not paying for insurance until I actually accept the car lol. Hope this helps those that were confused on what to do for that.

This is the quote of a seasoned Tesla customer. I remember waiting for December 2022 update only to learn that our Plaids were delivered without enough RAM to support Elon’s gaming claims. Our reward for being early adopters was to offer us a computer upgrade for 2k+. Then, after that, instead of our vehicles being “appreciating assets,” we got a bonus devaluation of 20k+.
That said… Here I am, getting ready to take delivery on another Tesla. No other car comes close. I may not even wait for the front camera and ambient lighting. I’m more concerned about getting a rushed build from end of quarter delivery push.

It seems whatever is going on now is not be communicated consistently to all of the delivery centers.

I picked my 2024 Model S LR up yesterday. I'm super excited to have it. I'm still getting used to the new Shifter (on screen) and the turn signal (on wheel). These may not be new to the car, but they are new to me. Lots have changed since I had my first Model S in 2015-2016. Attached are some fun first pictures. These were more "rushed" than "beautiful" pics.

Sort of. Driving my prius right now because MSP hasn't been ceramiced yet so it's sitting in garage all detailed until I can get to it this weekend. Whenever I try to signal, I keep pressing the steering wheel instead of using the left stalk.

Plus a picture of the steering wheel so we know it isn't a left over 2023 which there are still a lot of.

Jealous of the wood. Really wish Plaid had the option. I suspect the wood costs them more than the CF. I'd pay extra to get wood.
Do you know the production date? Let us know first thing if it has RGB lighting and a bumper camera.

Today I supercharged my 2024 MSLR to 100% and the stated range was 405. What a troll moveThat's because there's no way it's only a 3 mile reduction over the previous EPA estimate.
