Moderating forums is a thankless task (I know from experience) and a lot goes on behind the scenes that most people posting don't appreciate. They’ve also messed up the list somehow, they’ve deleted part of number 10 and moved all subsequent items down one number, and 25 is gone! All that time and effort and they’ve just butchered it!That is awful! Can you post a link to that thread perhaps. It is a very good list : you the trouble to compile it and Mods please note, you did so at the request of members not as an ad campaign.

I’ve sent a message to them to ask for it to be put back, if they refuse I’m probably just going to avoid this forum and stick to the Facebook groups, I feel absolutely awful.
The configurator is showing White as May delivery. That can only happen in my opinion if as soon as they start making cars in Shanghai, they make White ones. 10,000 cars a week, and in November 2/5 were for Europe the rest were for China. Anything else is showing delivery in July, which would make sense to be honest. (The 19" and 20" rims now don't make a difference). The start of Giga Berlin does mean that the cars being made in Shanghai can be concentrated for the UK market I guess.
I have spoken to both Tesla and ALD. Tesla have confirmed that once I have a car, the finance company will email for the first payment and once made, Tesla will then be in contact to confirm and arrange a delivery day.

I was thinking more that they didn't want the list to be prominently available as a first post in its own thread. They don't want people clicking unmonetised links to accessories rather than the monetised adverts. Either way, would be interested in their response if they give one. I understand how it must feel from your perspective, you were simply trying to help and put a lot of thought and effort into the list.

they do for me. May showing on 20" July on 19" for white. however that may just be a ploy to get you to pay the upgrade. I had July on 19's which changed to May as soon as I ordered but that was weeks ago now
I think it's a simple case of Tesla having more cars available with 20" wheels. I think early UK reviews of "poor ride quality" might have spooked a lot of buyers into choosing 19". Plus it's quite an expensive upgrade.
Oddly, I reserve a Model Y, white, black 20s, and even though the order page states May, my EDD on my account has June! I emailed Tesla to see why the difference and they said the following:
'it is giving you a rough time frame that's all. Usually, the website is pretty accurate in that we would deliver your car in that month but of course the delivery window does go by quarter. The next delivery quarter is May-July.'
So as it stands, I dont know if its really May, or really June.
It will keep changing every few days. Today mine is showing June 09 - June 30. It started off as July, then came forward to May, then back to July and now June. All in the space of 2 weeks. I guess they are working through a list and people will drop out bringing you forward, while factory delays will push you back down. I had about a week's warning when my last one came up for delivery. It was about a month behind the original schedule and I wasn't chasing.
Maybe the main order page is updated less often or not quite as accurate. Maybe it doesn't account for your exact delivery location. At the moment it's probably getting messed up by the Chinese factory covid shutdown.

I doubt that the auto industry has seen the level of enthusiasm and nervous anticipation engendered by the Tesla since the announcement of the Model T Ford which, for so many was their first car. It came with an important accessory - the packing case! This was used for the floor planks....

One day a car will be collected at Giga Shanghai and driven back to the UK. However, we are a few SCs short of that pick-nick for now.

Also Southampton for me is like 80 miles away and Bluewater is like 40 miles away. So made sense for me to Bluewater it, I guess I'll keep it to that. Don't wanna mess up too much on the order side... Like Monty Hall problem (should I switch/or should I keep it

Yes, stay with Bluewater. Video-wise, check out RSymonds . He is a English second hand Tesla dealer and quite good in a very English secondhand car dealer way. He recently collected a MY at Southampton ( his business is at NewMilton so nearby) and has made vids on the collection procedure and a 1k mile review. Also, he was reversed in to while parked but sentry mode captured it all.Hahahha love that.

HaHaHaHa! Actually, I have had several blue cars. Usually my first choice. I even had a yellow 320 resprayed Lapis Blue. Only had Ione red car, a TR6 in Pimento.Lovely car he collected from Southampton, the perfect spec imo
So, I'm risking the red multi coat with white interior. This might prove to be unwise over time because She who must be obeyed prefers the blue!
Oh yes, and she is not to keen on the white interior. What have I done!!!!
