My CPO buying experience timeline

@Massimo 99 - My timeline was really fast and I think I'm the outlier. Ordered the car on 5/19 (car was in Palm Springs, CA), the car arrived in Atlanta on 5/30, and I was informed on 6/5 that the car was ready for delivery. Because of travel and work schedule, I couldn't pick up until yesterday (6/13).

For whatever it's worth, my CPO was a 2016 with only 5,700 miles so there wasn't much to be done to it. I reviewed the CPO inspection report and they had to do very little, so there was no lag in waiting for parts, etc. I can only assume that really helped expedite delivery.

Ordered 2014 S85 (no autopilot) with 25K miles on May 19th.

Just heard from delivery that my car SHOULD be ready for delivery June 20th. Will believe it when I get the official mytesla response but promising. It needs to be trucked from Boston to Vermont so not sure what that means in terms of timing of when I see it. June 21st if the day the moving van is coming to our house so not the best timing but I'll take it.

Good luck to all.

Placed order for a 2013 S85 on 6/8/17. Car is already at my preferred location, so maybe delivery will be quicker? We will see. Car has 68000 miles, so probably needs some TLC before delivery.

Hope you get expedited. My car was @ the delivery location and service center must have been backed up since they didn't get started even doing the inspection for a couple of weeks.

Our "inventory" fully loaded 2015 P85D experience:

Had our awesome & patient Tesla sales specialist search nationwide for 4+ months for our "inventory" 2015 P85D with ALL the options we wanted in the pearl white paint + Next Gen tan interior. Turned down scores of cars matching most of our "wish list"... but told he we'd wait until our exact car came available. He said we were looking for a "unicorn" since we were so picky looking for "a mythical vehicle" which he named "Pegasus" (mythical Greek creature).

Saturday 7:00 PM received written Vehicle Quote on "Pegasus" that had just become available as "inventory" with only 2,906 miles on it and a decent discount for miles and months since built in March 2015.

Sunday 10:00 AM inspected "Pegasus" at a Tesla store nearby (not where our sales associate was located)... and put deposit on it to take if off the market. Requested and was granted a couple of wheel & paint finish corrections

Wednesday 4:00 PM picked up Tesla High Power Wall charger for our Tesla approved electrician to install in a 100A / 240V circuit

Friday 2:00 PM took delivery after confirming wheel & paint corrections completed

Fabulous experience including Tesla order specialist communicating directly with Energy Federal Credit Union (3,000 miles + 3 hours ahead) to process loan. Maybe our experience was better because ours was inside a Tesla showroom in a mall... but one of my business partners bought an "inventory" 90D a couple of months before we bought ours and had a great experience too.

6/14 ~18:00 EDT - received message from DS to schedule delivery date for mid next week
6/15 ~09:30 EDT - sent message to DS to schedule for June 24
6/15 ~12:00 EDT - received message from DS confirming delivery scheduled for June 24 12:00PM
6/15 ~16:30 EDT - received refurb checklist from DS
6/15 ~18:00 EDT - sent messsage to DS inquiring about checklist; there appears to be some discrepancies
6/15 ~19:00 EDT - received message from DS that he'll look into it

Congrats...is that a "scheduled" delivery date or a guestimate?
