MYP - April/May OD July/September EDD

I thought this was going too smoothly, and no surprise, I got a text from Tesla on Sunday telling me that my MYP had not arrived at the service center, which means it would not be available and they were going to move my scheduled appointment from Tuesday August 30th, to Thursday September 1st instead. That immediately set me off as that would mean I would lose out on the $750 California Clean Fuel Reward which had already been added back to my account, which I then paid the final payment. Because it now wont be available until the 1st (we will see if that holds true), I now see in my account that I once again owe that $750.Received my mobile connector via UPS today, which included the 5-15 and 14-50 adapters as I expected. The J1772 adapter was not in the kit so hopefully that will be in my MYP on DD Tuesday next week. Every time I see pictures of the mobile connector case it appears to have the J1172 adapter inside but this could just be that owners are storing their J1772 adapter in the mobile case so they dont lose it
Tesla have offered no explanation as to why the car would not be delivered as it was scheduled but are happy to tell me I owe them another $750. They seem to have no apologies for missing the schedule and costing me another $750. I am so upset, especially that their customer service is completely non-existent on the matter.
I complained that they are missing the agreed upon delivery date and that it is costing me more and they just say that they are not responsible for the rebates. I agree with that but they are responsible for missing the delivery window and never explained what happened.
Never a great start to piss off a new customer and share holder.
Same here. Below is what transpired over the past week.
8/22 - Reached out to Tesla on earlier than 9/1 delivery appointment and was told my car would arrive on 8/24 and scheduled for 8/26.
8/24 - Car now arriving on 8/28 instead and re-scheduled for 8/29.
8/27 - Car will now arrive on 8/29 and re-scheduled for 8/31.
Today - Car has not arrived and re-scheduled me 9/2.
I am now backed to where I started initially and will loose the $750 California Clean Fuel Reward.
Damn, so sorry to hear this happened to you as well. In a way I wish they had not lied about this in the first place and left it as being in September. Gave us false hope for that fuel credit. Just hoping they come through before the Labor Day weekend. Did they give you any clue as to what went wrong or just blowing you off with an apology. I would have accepted that had it not cost us more money. Based on your experience it seems like I may need to expect a second reschedule
that was funny!I actually like that Tesla doesn’t give anyone special treatment really. Every car on the road pays the same price.
If you’re a pushover at a regular dealership, they’ll wring you dry. At Tesla, everyone is treated the same
I hear ya. As I have stated in this forum, customer service is great when everything is going well, otherwise...not. I can not get them to call me back now for my mess that they have dragged me through. hope you get the credit regardless.

Where are you getting 12v switched power for the radar detector? I have my radar detector, and mirror tap sitting in a drawer because I was under the assumption that the only 12v switched power is the cigarette port
