How do you like it so far? Any issues with the car itself? Trying to add up all the times…you were there for about two hours, is that correct? Btw who was your delivery advisor there?
I got there at 12:40 for a 1:00 appointment. I left at 3:40. Car is great! 30 min drive home down rt 22 and the EAP was calibrated. Seems a bit flaky at times as it will slow down to a crawl for no reason and start up again. I hope that it's still learning. I also drive through a section where the speed limit goes from 55 to 45 (for 1/2 mile) then back to 55 and it doesn't react to the changes very well. I'll keep an eye on this over the next few weeks.

First DA was Franco. He was very good. Very apologetic about the delay, but the waiting did get old. Second DA was Alex. He just gave the 5 minute tour. I was waiting in an office in the service waiting room and it seemed like I was the only delivery going on, so I was concerned something was really wrong. But, when I went outside, there were around 10 people getting their 5 minute tutorials, so I think they were just swamped.

Car looks great, but I haven't given it a good going over. I'll be doing that on Saturday.

Congrats on the car! Same config as I've got except for EAP, but I've asked them to add EAP. I wish my car would show up was supposed to be delivered Monday but now they have no idea. As of Wednesday it's been stuck in Chicago for almost 3 weeks.

Buffalo, NY here. We don't have any "within reason" SCs close to us. Cleveland is where i did my test drive.

I have placed my order:

10/26
MR RWD, Black/Black, Aero, EAP (Been trying to change to a LR)

No movement on the site yet, but that's expected.

I did however have my OA locate a LR RWD, Red, Black, Aero, EAP... he said it's "pinging from california" but destined for Mt Kisco. He however said "I am not sure it would be able to get to NY before the end of the year" --- That seems odd as they have said that my MR would have no problem getting there and it's not even built? Does this make sense?

I called the 888 number today, but the guy was no help as he did have access to Inventory or any logistics information. He did however say that he checked my order and it's setup to go to Cleveland?!? I thought as a NY resident i would have to take delivery from a NY SC. If nothing more than to get the full $2000 NYS tax credit. He said that it's only required that you REGISTER the car in NYS, not take delivery? Anyone with any ideas on this?

Jim

Just thought I'd say hi per @lensovet's invitation! My LR AWD MSM/White+Black, 19's just arrived early in Cherry Hill! I was scheduled for delivery for 11/21 but just got a text moving it to 11/14. I posed the same question in the AWD waiting room, but how flexible are they with the delivery dates? Ideally, I'd like to keep my original date of 11/21 as I'm traveling on 11/14 and it would be very hard to change my plans on short notice (as Tesla should expect with less than 48 hours notice)?.

I would ask. When I was originally matched to a demo they offered a 10/27 date that I requested be pushed out to 11/3. No questions asked, it was done. So just request a date that works better for you and confirm that they won't give the car away to someone else.

So - interesting update: I spoke to Jessie at Cherry Hill - so incredibly patient and helpful. She explained that you have 7 days from the time it arrives at the dealer to take delivery of the car before it gets sold to someone else. So, technically, my car arrived on the 12th, so I would have to take it by 11/19. I arranged to pick it up on Saturday, 11/17 (couldn't push to 11/21 as planned but this is better than 11/14) and I'm psyched - timing works well, etc.

Nice! Jealous! I was told my car should arrive by thanksgiving last week by Jessie. I called today just to see if there’s been any updates and the guy I spoke to (Tim? I think) told me my car should be arriving by my delivery date on the site 12/3. He said it’s in transit but that’s all he could see. Jessie was able to tell me that my car was in Chicago last Monday. Tim told me there’s no way he can see that level of detail or feel comfortable giving me any date other than 12/3. I thought it was odd that different DAs give such varying info. At the end of the day I should just be patient and wait for “the call.” On the upside, my Tesla wall charger came in and I’ve already run a 60amp 240 line with 6 gauge through my garage in pvp conduit and the line is ready to hookup the wall charger between the garage doors this weekend!

Anyways good luck on the 17th! I’ll be interested to hear your first impressions!

Hey all, I ordered black awd lr with white interior on 10/31 with a delivery date of 12/7 for home delivery, also im a reservation holder 4/1/16. I recently called ch tesla since I havent heard anything since I received an email from the scheduling team. Talked to Timothy and told him I needed a mvpa for my credit union loan. He sent me an email with the info and vin# of 1228##. Hopefully I get a call from the delivery specialist and maybe change the delivery to a pickup in ch.

Hey folks, congrats on the new cars, hope they managed well in yesterday's snowstorm!

I'm excited to join the community, but getting worried about 2019 delivery. Patiently waited until last week to bug Sales Assoc, and got the usual brush-off: looking for VIN. They indicated home delivery, which surprised me. I expected and asked for Springfield NJ pickup. Don't see much M3 presence around here, so I don't feel dreadfully neglected or passed-by... yet...

Central Jersey
Ordered Aug 13
AWD LR Red
Expected delivery Oct - Dec

Was told today my car is expected to arrive on 11/19. They said they will need to first inspect and detail the car before they can schedule pickup or delivery. Asked if I could pickup same day it comes in but I don't know how long they usually take to turn them around. I am without a vehicle right now as I did a pre-trade in to avoid making another payment on my old car for a week or two of use.
