V9 is a UI improvement is almost every way. I highly doubt the small minority of people who insist on having the camera at the top are going to cause tesla to completely rethink their design.

If I didn't actually know what version came first and you late me play with both 8 and 9, I'd swear to you that 9 came first and that 8 came later and was itself the vast improvement. From the time I've spent playing with 9, I'm SOOO glad that I kept my S on v8.
