Hi everyone. I'm new to Salvage Tesla group. Does anyone had any experiences with salvage without keys? Can you get one from Tesla once you show you have the salvage tile for the car or Is there an options to buy a key fob and have someone (3rd party) to reprogram it?

I believe you have to have the Tesla app on your phone. You contact Tesla using the bill of sale and tittle to prove you have ownership, and then they add the VIN to your account. Then you should in theory be able to gain entry to the vehicle using the app/phone.

Anyone have another way?

I know this was an issue previously. Is this still an ongoing issue for salvage owners?

For the past 2 weeks I desperately need someone that can manually flash ECUs on a Tegra Model S. I can't seem to get a hold of anybody. Looks like @Ingineer still didn't finish moving either. I would appreciate a PM.

Were you able to find anyone to help you out?

I believe that is called an inverted Torx or a e-Torx bolt.

It looks to be 5 sided so probably a pentalobe bolt.

Looks like the e-Torx are 6 point. Someone sells a socket on eBay - Tesla pyro fuse socket 5 point.

Not sure if there are generic - everything I find online expensive.

Anyone here have any experience fixing a model x? I’ve got one repaired but air suspsion won’t inflate, it’s a software issue. Wondering if anyone has dealt with this before

2018 rooted M3, car is daily driver. I have front right driver and left restraints fault. I sent driver seat belt to repair, and fault is still
Faulting. There’s a lot of salvage owners here , can some one help? Need to past inspection.
