SR/SR+ (Model 3 RWD) Waiting Room

I want to switch to LR but i want the LFP. i was so convinced that LFP was better option but now its a waiting game. not sure what to do
I was in the same boat. But, I cannot wait any longer. The cost of gas alone is far more then the price difference to go to the LR. At this point LFP or NCA.. is acceptable... I just need my car sooner then 2023.

What's your time horizon? If you have nothing pressing, just wait it out. But be prepared for up to a year wait on RWD. Everyone's situation is different.
currently selling my rav4 to carmax for profit to get out of the loan and driving 1 vehicle between my wife and I which should be ok for the at-least 6 months~, I placed my order based on the sites EDD but after joining and searching here, seeing all the delays I am nervous lol

Yes you can switch from RWD to LR, without current price increase.
You have to use the edit link, as edit option won't appear in your account or contact SA, whichever works.
I have changed my RWD to LR and it is around 5K cheaper than the current price. Delivery date says Oct 2022 to Jan 2023, I'm in Eastcoast so I am not expecting my delivery to be next year in March or May.
I got my ioniq 5 couple months ago, so I am just keeping my tesla order if in case I wanna trade in next year, if not 250CAD not gonna hurt to lose.

Apart from the price difference, wouldn't we in Canada, also lose out on the $8000 Federal + Provincial rebates for EVs as the overall price needs to be below $55 k for being eligible for these rebates ?

My OD is March 2022 so neither in my province nor at federal level, either M3SR or M3LR qualifies for rebate.
Federal eligibility for any Tesla car ended in last October I think.

I would wait. We had the 2021 M3 SR+ with NCA batt for one year & lost 9% of range even though we charged 40-60%, drove on chill and never supercharged. A Tesla tech told me 10% loss in first year was common ( though above average), then added that the only cars that didn’t happen to had LFP batteries.

We sold the car (at a profit) and got in line for the LFP.

Decided to take a gamble and switch my configuration to White interior but kept the blue paint and aero wheels. Hoping for some luck like you 🤞🏾

Howdy gang. Looks like my time is almost done. Picking up this Sunday at 10 am. So all told, 7 days from switching to LR to driving home. Still cannot believe it. I hope these updates are helpful not annoying.
Got a call to pick up early. Ryzen, matrix, heated wipers, the works. 5 miles on the OD. Utterly flawless - and hubby loves it. Turn around from upgrading to LR to delivery was five days.

I also decided to upgrade from the RWD to LR tonight. For those who did that recently, how quickly did you see a change in your EDD? Was there anything else you had to do on your account once you made the change. My account was in order before, but I just want to make sure there is nothing else i need to do. Thanks
