Silly question. For the down payment and sales tax, can I go into the dealership and pay in cash or do I need to cut a check?

I hear you man. I ordered on July 15th. Got a text a week ago saying 2-5 weeks. Till today still no VIN. I even checked the Source Codes.

07/19 with the same text last week of 2-5 weeks. Somes like everybody received either a 2-5 or 1-4 weeks. Even those who order in August are already getting 1-4 weeks texts, which doesn't make a lot of sense, since the July group seem mainly in the 2-5 window. Either way, it seems like a wave of new M3s coming out over the next few weeks.

Received an email from my SA today with a VIN! She is on 'er way! I was offered a delivery of 08/29 in Calgary. SR+ Midnight Silver. Ordered 7/3. No VIN is showing in source code yet. Received a 2-5 week txt on 08/10.

Finally! Got the text this morning. I've been matched with a VIN and delivery set for 09/11 in the morning. If that holds true it would have been close to 8 weeks from Config date.

My order is very similar to yours. SR+ grey and 18” aeros. Ordered 08/12 received text on 08/19 2-5 weeks.

Just new to the forum, and will update this thread with any new updates.

"Tesla Update - We currently expect your Model 3 to be ready for delivery 2 - 4 weeks from today. Once your Model 3 starts moving to your delivery center, we will reach out to schedule your delivery appointment"
