Wondering if anyone has ever encountered the case when Tesla delivered ahead of the EDD?

My EDD was June 10-30 as of yesterday, got the call this morning and picked up my car. So it can definitely happen.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, new to Tesla and not familiar with delivery logistics. Would this mean they dropped off some Tesla's in Chicago by chance? I spoke to my SA yesterday afternoon and she said that it's very likely I should expect my VIN within a few weeks. (I hope sooner) I ordered 4/5 and although it's nice seeing others get their VIN's it's disheartening/confusing to see those who got their cars ordered weeks and even a month after I did.

It's possible, but I can't say for sure. My SA just said that my car is currently in Chicago and will be in transit to Toronto the next few days. Looks like another forum member had the same response, also from Toronto.

Thanks for the reply! Hopefully my car was part of that shipment and is there. SR+, metallic gray, black interior. No FSD.

I talked to an SA at Westmont on Wednesday and he said my car should arrive there 6/3 so fingers crossed! I ordered 4/21 blue/black, aero wheels, no FSD

Update, I just checked my account (again) and got the message to accept the Teslavision. I now have June 1-7 delivery date. How the heck am I gonna get any sleep?

I just checked my account (again after soo many times today) and got the message to accept the Teslavision. I still don’t have a delivery date, but I got a VIN! I’ll have to call my SA tomorrow to see if she has better insight (ie. if it’s on a ship already or something). I hope it’s by the 12th as my loan terms expire…..

Congrats. Oh I hope I get mine soon. I ordered on April 16th. I was told June 11th would be a likely delivery date some time ago even tho my account now says 3-13 weeks.

I ordered the same day as you, down the 401 in London, but am picking it up in Kitchener. SA said "mid-June" for my white, black interior, SR+. Waiting (not so) patiently.

Received my VIN this morning after accepting “Tesla Vision”!

Estimated delivery date is set for 6/4 to 6/10

Ordered on 4/26 - Charlotte, NC

I ordered White SR+, White int, 19" wheels on 4/30. I just saw a post from someone who ordered 4/21 that got their VIN three hours before me. When I take delivery, I am going to post dates from the beginning until the end to help the future Teslaholics know what to expect.

Maybe your delivery date still missing means your VIN is coming.....
