I chose to pick up in Costa Mesa instead, they just called me to ask and confirm.

So just to be clear, you are picking up in Costa Mesa? I ask because I don't want home delivery.

Man, if your order was in May, then my early June order timeframe means I probably still have at least a few more weeks before there is any chance of a VIN for us Bay Area folks. Seems like SoCal folks are getting the love right now. I'm just hoping I don't get sucked into the end-of-quarter push in Sept.

We just got back to San Jose from a road trip to San Diego. Saw a lot of Tesla's being transported down on I-5 S.

Yes, they chose home yesterday, when they called me to confirm today I told them pick up in Costa Mesa and they said OK, and I shall go pick up tomorrow at 11am!

It won't increase, if your state has a rebate then it might automatically get applied towards the car, so you'll pay the same but the finance agreement should end up with the rebate + 100 for initial down.

SR+ with 19" wheels, midnight silver metallic. Even my Service Advisor was shocked. Unfortunately I may not be able to swing the delivery so soon. Service Advisor said the M# SR+ are getting delivered earlier than other models..... FWIW.... Good luck!

Yowzers! That is crazy. Well, at least if you order now, you are well aware of the wait you will have versus folks here who have potentially gotten EDDs pushed back and sucked into the September "end-of-the-quarter" push.

SoCal ordered on 7/24. Still showing Sept EDD, but the gap gets smaller and smaller each day. Had 9/19-9/30 yesterday and now it pushes to 9/23-9/30 today. I’m starting to think mine will push into Oct too…

I’m in the same boat lol. Ordered 7/15 and my date has also been pushed to 9/23-9/30. Hang in there, we will get our vins soon.

Picked up a few hours ago. Only defect is the back window pillar

3M Crystalline:

1. 1 guy in garden grove said full car (+wind shield and moonroof) 600 but seems questionable
2. RPM Tesla (where I want to go) is 900-1300 (depending on wrap type? Going by to ask them tomorrow, in person
3. 700 for car, an extra 500 for windshield, but won't do moon because they're easily crackable?

The three quotes I've gotten.. Will verify tomorrow with RPM Tesla! They're in Rancho Santa Margarita and have a ton of inventory.. I want to Alcantara everything.. hahaha!


My downpayment was 10k (rounding), and then the loan agreement said 11.6k and I was like "huh?" And Tesla said they get this question a lot, there's 1500 cash back for buying the EV (in cali? not sure if it's States wide), and they auto apply that to the car payment. (in my case, the loan)

day 2 at service center. They still cannot find out why AC is not working.
it is going in pretty funny way now.

Same w me in San Diego, has stayed at Sept 16 to 28 for 1 week. I have resigned myself that that is it, if not I will bee pleasantly surprised.
