It seems to be specific to Montréal at the moment then. Everyone else seems to be getting the “date range”. I wish there was a way to know which cars were coming in

Called into my local Tesla store today and although there weren't any updates on my account yet (still the 4-8 weeks estimate), I got the following confirmed:

• I will receive the 2021 model (confirmed for a 2nd time now)
• I have a VIN assigned to my account apparently, and will have it emailed shortly
• The first shipment of 2021s to Toronto are in transit
• Tentative delivery scheduled for Nov 23

Order placed in Toronto on Oct 1, Blue ext, Black int.

Existing inventory SR+ grey ordered in Germany on Oct26th, on Nov 4th i saw this VIN allocated LRW3E7FA0LC1135xx to my invoice and est delivery date Dec 22nd.

I hope it has at least the heat pump...

Sorry to break the news but your 10th digit is an “L” which means it is a 2020 model. 2021 would have an “M” as the 10th digit

Sorry to break the news but your 10th digit is an “L” which means it is a 2020 model. 2021 would have an “M” as the 10th digit

BUT....there is good news for you. Your SR+ is coming from China it will have the LFP batteries which is way better than the new heat pump:
