Contact your SA again.. see if there is anything he/she can do.. you never know what behind the scene levers are there to push.. your wait time makes their average delivery time metric higher.. hopefully they care about that even a little bit..

When i went to the delivery center yesterday there were lots of cars being delivered compared to the barren lot in early April when i was there last. But the SA acknowledged that RWD’s are very few and deliveries being LR, P and Y’s mostly.

Whenever I contact a SA, I get the same song and dance telling me to be patient. I even begged for any tidbit that my move me up in the queue and I get the same no-nothing answers.

Hey all! Seems like things are starting to move in Florida, after a month on hold for Charge port. Just got a text message to schedule my delivery. Delivery appointment now set to Saturday 6/4

Same here in Toronto, mine was made on Apr 24, been waiting at the delivery center for ECU since probably May 9. I'm scheduled to pick it up same day, Sat Jun 4.

So I ordered my SR+ on August 19. Switched to LR May 26. VIN on 5/28. Picked up today June 2. As much as I love the car, I feel like Tesla sucked the joy out of the process. But glad to be done with the wait. Super happy it came with matrix lights. They also honored the order date and it came with the charging cable so that was nice. Good luck guys on your journey!

Given the trend of the quick turnaround of switching to LR and getting a VIN, I’m curious to know if they just have a ton of unclaimed LRs sitting around somewhere? No, its just a "loophole" in the system. The system uses dates to prioritize VINs. When you switch orders the system freaks out because now it sees an order that appears to months to over a year old and it instantly drags that order right to the front of the queue.

You and I have the exact same configuration, decently close order date, exact same EDD, and also picking up in Iowa. Nice to know I have a buddy in this long journey lol

Got a call to pick up early. Ryzen, matrix, heated wipers, the works. 5 miles on the OD. Utterly flawless - and hubby loves it. Turn around from upgrading to LR to delivery was five days.

Guys finally got my Tesla today. The car is perfect and there are no major issues.

Car has matrix headlights, ryzen, lfp heated wipers. The wait was hard but it’s totally worth it in the end.

June will be interesting to follow. Here in Quebec, one of the province in Canada, we have a GVT incentive, applicable only on the RWD version, because it is based on a maximum PDSF. Until now that incentive was $8K. In March, the GVT lowered that incentive to $7K but with a transition period ending June 30th. So you get you car B4 June 30th you get $8K. You get you car after, you get $7K.

Without having any hope at all, one would think that if Tesla is working somewhat by region and caring for their customers, they would push a batch of RWD for a DD B4 June 30th. Unfortunately, based on the Google Sheet, there are only (10) outstanding entries for QC, so a very small sample to track with maybe some orphan data.

I would prefer it. Shanghai is a more modern factory that produces a high quality product. The mfg tolerances are just better at China, Berlin, and Texas.
