Supercharger - Melbourne (Dandenong), Vic

The Tesla map is now showing Dandenong as open

Do we have any verification of this? Or is this another case of the map being inaccurate?

Looks legit.

Very interesting.
In Dandenong Plaza Shopping Centre.
If so, opened without anyone spotting it under construction

And different to the Brighton East site recently spotted.

Per post by RichardV in the main Superchargers thread, looks like a new Supercharger in Melbourne has opened in Dandenong Plaza, seemingly without anyone on the Tesla socials nor Plugshare spotting it under construction.

Definitely different location to the recently spotted Brighton East site.

Centre currently owned by Pelligra who bought the site in 2022 and is planning a major redevelopment.

The current Plugshare entry is locked but has the pin in the wrong spot so I've submitted alterations.

Excellent news! I travel regularly from Metung to Rosanna so now I'll be able to stop in Dandenong to charge and shop (latter lacking at Box Hill). All I need now is for the Bairnsdale charger to open later this year and life will be perfect.

250kw and near Sandown Racetrack. I used to visit the Evie 350kw. This new Supercharger is slightly closer to the track.

So in good things it'll precondition on the way to the charger (admittedly not a issue when using it at the track cause the battery gets pretty hot already). Only downside is getting through all the shopping centre traffic vs the Evie which is easy access just off the street.

Also does this close at midnight?, so is it a issue for late driving back from Wilsons Prom/Gippsland.
