More Info: Supercharging.Life database

This is a friendly contest for Tesla owners to track the number of unique public Superchargers where they have charged

- "Supercharger count" is the number of unique public Superchargers where you have charged (just being there does not count), whether or not you were the person plugging in the vehicle (such as a Valet Parking garage or a Passenger) and whether or not it was your own personal vehicle (such as a rental, a loaner, or a friend's Tesla) as long as you were the one who drove >50% of the distance to reach the charger(s).
- The list of chargers in the supercharging.life database are the ones included in the game. If you think one should be added or removed from the list, let us know.
- Only chargers available to the public without special permission are included in the game.
- Chargers not connected to the grid are not counted.
- Doublet locations like the North/South Supercharger 'pairs' in CT, ME, NH, etc. count as individual locations.
- More than 1 charger at the same address, such as Lenox Square Mall (Atlanta, GA) or Montgomery Mall (Bethesda, MD) count as individual locations when they appear as a separate location on the Tesla Nav screen.
- Inactive competitors will be archived and removed from the leaderboard. Just post an update to be reactivated.

See Supercharging.Life database for info on how to post your own visits to the database (preferred), or post your locations with date visited to this thread and one of the admins will update your list for you. All visits must be posted to this thread - not just entered in supercharging.life. If you are the first in the game to visit a supercharger location, please post to the thread as soon as you can so others know it has been visited.

A belated summary of my trip home from Custer. My trip out to Custer included an HVAC issue that limped along until I got down to Kentucky, where it decided enough was enough. Beyond leaving me driving along in a high priced convection oven, it's failure state resulted in a high voltage battery warning BMS_a035 (Vehicle may not restart) that scared the bleep out of me and sent me directly to the Nashville, TN service center the following day. They had almost all the parts - 2 coolant lines needed were 2 hours south in Chattanooga which someone drove up in time for my repairs the next morning. With repairs completed, and a promise to be home on Sunday, I dropped my day's route around the Atlanta area with 13 pins including a first from my trip so I would still have time to spend the day driving the twisties in TN/NC including the Cherohala Skyway and Tail of the Dragon. Worth it.

Total trip milage: 8,587.78

After leaving South Dakota, I followed in the footsteps of EV manufacturer Oliver P. Fritchle and drove his 1908 route from Lincoln, Nebraska to York, Pennsylvania (he drove his 100-mile EV all the way to New York City and Washington DC).
Looks like a ❤️

- Tacoma - S Steele St, WA (#1181) (Comment: Marked location shows as on the other side of the mall from where I am now charging. How do we update that info?)
The data should be gotten straight from Supercharge.info, and one of the admins are sure to be lurking in this thread. The particular link for that site appears to be: supercharge.info
Is that GPS location accurate?

I broke 1,600 unique locations today.
486 miles driven
Completed my first supercharge in the state of Washington, which means I only have to charge in Oregon to complete the lower 48 plus DC.

A picture perfect day for a drive across Montana.

I arrived in Couer d'Alene around dinner, so I popped down to the waterfront, walked around a bit,and had a chicken sandwich overlooking the action on the water. Lots of great people watching, too.

Heading to the Seattle area?

We left the Denver area bright and early Monday morning and managed to get home by Tuesday evening with only one night on the road.
Had to get back to watch our Toledo area son's dog for a short while.
Only charged at 4 new sites since we only charged at sites along the path home with no real venturing off the direct route.
Missed @Thinkje and @StephenBrown2 while away from home as they stopped to charge near our house. Maybe next time!

: Heading to the Seattle area?
Yes. I'll be around the broader Seattle area through the 8th.

My rough plan is:
Wednesday: Spokane -> Dry Falls -> Moses Lake Sanddunes -> Tacoma area
Thursday: Collect the superchargers around the Olympic National Forest
Friday: Seattle area superchargers
Saturday: Hanging with @Big Earl and possibly others north of Seattle
Sunday; ?
Monday: ?
Tuesday/: Pick up niece from the airport and head to Leavenworth
Wednesday: Finish the Cascade Loop and end somewhere near Bellingham
Thursday: Whale watching
Friday/Saturday: Hang in Bellingham and make way back towards Seattle. We'll likely do the Space Needle and "Tower of Tomorrow in Legos" before putting my niece back on the plane to MN, and I start my drive to Denver for a conference and a windshield replacement.

Today's visits

Slept 12 hours again so I got a late start. I'd almost wonder if I were sick, but every time I wake up from these long sleeps I feel like a million bucks lol. I'm beginning to think that over a month and a half straight on the road is too long :)

Had a nice meet up with @NKYTA as pictured above. He also saved me from a "Nav error" when I was about to go to an old San Mateo supercharger. It's a good thing, because he was waiting for me at the new one which I had mistakenly forgotten.

The midnight drive up to Arnold was not as bad as I expected it to be. There are some twisties, but nothing too crazy and the weather was nice and I didn't see any animals. There was however strong evidence of recent bear activity at the garbage cans next to the supercharger when I got there. They probably need to install the bear proof garbage cans there or else future users might encounter some unwanted guests. I broke protocol and peed very close to the car just in case. It was dead up there around 2am with no humans in sight.

I have a relatively straight path back home which I should be able to do in one day. Just two new superchargers to hit along the way with Klamath Falls taking me off of I-5 for a stretch, but it's a barely slower route (and actually slightly fewer miles) than staying along the interstate the whole way.

I did a scenic drive around the Northeast enjoying nature and picking up a few new stations on the way. 1400 miles in 2.5 days. Throughout the entire trip my efficiency was 270 Wh/mile which is exactly the rated consumption for my Y. Despite not optimizing my charge times at all (I usually arrived at 30%) my drive to charge ratio was 12:1. Today's EV charge too fast LOL

Missed Greg George and Andy
Not to be confused with our Top Charger (Andy) @Bighorn but I go by Andrew or Drew, generally.
I indicated I wasn’t going to be able to make the Weed trip (for someone that doesn’t smoke a dube).
3 of 7 guys birth named Andrew in my original coterie when I was a kid. Only one Andy, and that wasn’t me.
Ref my last name for my nickname in childhood.

Still a few hours till I get home, but this will conclude my hunting for the trip. In fact, it concludes my sweep of the continent over the last couple months. It's getting harder and harder to sweep the continent!

It looks like there are 16 in the lower 48 and Canada that I wasn't able to get. Most of them simply opened up behind me. In fact, Wellington, UT just opened up today! I was right near there on my way to Custer. Mercedes, TX was the only one I purposefully orphaned. Franklin, NC was out of service when I was in the area. And of course Manning Park, BC had a random power outage for precisely when I was there.

I already have 29k on the odometer. Most of it from hunting in the last two months. So much for that warranty!

Day 21
402 miles. Trip total so far: ~6,457
Tacoma Valley -> Olympia

Thanks to others' suggestions, I stopped at Dry Falls, Moses Lake dunes, and the Columbia River overlook on I-90.
I experienced huge headwinds coming across the plains and heavy rain in the Cascades, but it was an enjoyable day of driving.

It feels very odd to be in an area where every supercharger is new to me.

Great photos!

We lived in Moses Lake for four years, and loved the scablands topography found in parts of eastern WA. The drive up to Dry Falls was one of our favorites, as was the drive between Quincy and Wenatchee along the Columbia River gorge.

I remember seeing a documentary about the golden gate bridge painting. There is a team that adds new paint over the entire bridge. By the time they are done, so much time has passed that they are starting right away again. It's a constant thing. Feels like this supercharger hunt has become like this.
