More Info: Supercharging.Life database

This is a friendly contest for Tesla owners to track the number of unique public Superchargers where they have charged

- "Supercharger count" is the number of unique public Superchargers where you have charged (just being there does not count), whether or not you were the person plugging in the vehicle (such as a Valet Parking garage or a Passenger) and whether or not it was your own personal vehicle (such as a rental, a loaner, or a friend's Tesla) as long as you were the one who drove >50% of the distance to reach the charger(s).
- The list of chargers in the supercharging.life database are the ones included in the game. If you think one should be added or removed from the list, let us know.
- Only chargers available to the public without special permission are included in the game.
- Chargers not connected to the grid are not counted.
- Doublet locations like the North/South Supercharger 'pairs' in CT, ME, NH, etc. count as individual locations.
- More than 1 charger at the same address, such as Lenox Square Mall (Atlanta, GA) or Montgomery Mall (Bethesda, MD) count as individual locations when they appear as a separate location on the Tesla Nav screen.
- Inactive competitors will be archived and removed from the leaderboard. Just post an update to be reactivated.

See Supercharging.Life database for info on how to post your own visits to the database (preferred), or post your locations with date visited to this thread and one of the admins will update your list for you. All visits must be posted to this thread - not just entered in supercharging.life. If you are the first in the game to visit a supercharger location, please post to the thread as soon as you can so others know it has been visited.

Had a fairly eventful weekend trip almost 100% spent in my car (driving, charging and sleeping in it) - went from my apartment in Mesa, AZ (Phoenix area) NW through Las Vegas, up to Beatty, NV (slept at SuC), across Death Valley and then down to Fontana, CA for the start of the Kilowatt Rally in Lake Arrowhead, CA. Had a blast driving the mountain roads with about 70 other Teslas and on the way back, I was dumb and didn't listen to my car soon enough. Ran my car completely dead trying to get to the destination charger on the mountain and had to have AAA flatbed my car to Fontana....At least I had an incredible view while I waited! (PS - We need vehicle to vehicle charging!!) Managed to get on the road back to AZ after that and got home around 4:30am this morning. Crossed some odometer milestones also ;) Anyway, here are some photos and the Superchargers I added:

Wow, sorry you had to do the "flatbed of shame", but that's quite an adventure.

That's an unusual combination of body color roof and aero wheels! I bet a lot of newer Tesla owners haven't seen those.

Bruce.

It might have been discussed so sorry if this is repetitive. A common task for us Supercharger hunters is to select a bunch of new (to us) ones and then plan a route. Is there an easy way to select a bunch from the map and create a list of addresses which I can then feed into a navigation or export?

Yes. On your Tableau map, select the bottom icon from the map tools on the left side of the map (viewing on my browser, it looks like a play button). From there, you'll have several pointer options ... select the lasso tool and select the points you want. You can hold shift to move the map in lasso mode or press control to add more points to your previous selection. Then you can export all of your selected points to .csv file and import it to whatever route planning software you want. I just started importing things to RoadWarrior, which plans the shortest or fastest route (your choice).

Today I added:

833. Bethel, ME

We did drive up Mt Washington on the way, which was fun. Got to the top with 50 miles of range left (used 40 miles going up) and reached the bottom with 70 miles. It only took 1 mile of range to get from Glen House back down to Gorham.

We got out of there before the road got too thick with tourists.

I was thinking of the San Fran area when Covid ends. Being from the Eastern side of the US (Chicagoland and now FL) and having only dipped into CA quickly for the Model 3 unveiling event, I was thinking the Bay Area would be a good location to do 40+ in a day. Unfamiliarity with the area might be a big hurdle though.

Unfortunately for me, I have done a bit already in the NE. I would imagine general congestion and traffic issues (as well as SC in parking garages) would make this task tough in the NYC metro area, but there are lots of SC there so maybe it's doable.
Just from eyeballing it, I think the Bay Area is the easiest place to break the current record (I'm assuming a virgin competitor who has not yet used any of the superchargers in a given area). I was surprised to see it's quite a bit more fertile ground than Southern California. In either location you could likely get around 55 superchargers in a full day of driving before you end up out on the open road picking up only one supercharger per hour or whatever. But in the case of the Bay Area/Sacramento, you would probably get those 55 with time to spare, so you could finish out the 24 hours by heading south on I-5 or heading up to Tahoe/Reno and picking up a few more there.

If one wanted to get the absolute most in one day though, the Boston-DC corridor would definitely be the place to go. It seems that you could get close to 100 if you traveled on Christmas Day or something and had a navigator/assistant. I didn't say it would be fun!

Went to the following today:
Colby KS

I have updated the spreadsheet.

We are now back home in Loveland CO. Total miles 3922 for our "Not New England Road Trip". Original plan was to go thru Canada east to Bar Harbor but since Canada was closed and Maine seems to be closed (if you follow the rules) we decided to just visit relatives for a few days in Zionsville IN. We spent last night in Hays KS at the Hampton Inn. We had heavy rain/wind the last 15 minutes and were glad that this was our stop for the night. There are several Tesla destination chargers at this hotel. Across the street is a new Town Place Suites. The Tesla Supercharger is at the Applebees. Mask usage in Colby KS was non-existent. None of the employees at the Oasis Travel Center were using masks. In March 2017 we drove from Goodland to Hays and I remember we had to drive slow and try to be behind big rigs in order to make it. The Colby Supercharger is a nice addition. There is a new hotel being build next to the the Holiday Inn Express in Goodland.

Finally got internet back after a week. Thank you Isaias!

Here are the spreadsheet updates over the past 10 days. Welcome @Polly Wog !

We picked up Hank the other day. This was taken at the Kettleman City Supercharger where we stopped for some juice and to let the pup sniff about and do his business.

I hope he wants to be a travel companion when he is older.

Many of you said that you just pull off the highway in some remote location to grab 40 winks. How do you accomplish this? Do you put the rear seats down and crawl into the rear hatch? Do you recline the passenger seat and try to sleep? I've tried both methods when trying to grab a little shut-eye, and both are extremely uncomfortable. Then there is the problem of taking a shower every other day (maybe grab a motel).

Hank is a beagle, and they are not known to be mellow dogs. Quite the contrary, they lead with their noses and suffer no fools once they pick up a scent.

Reclining the front seats is fine for a cat-nap (sorry Hank) but I've folded down the rear seat and used a twin/single airbed for longer periods. One time it developed a hole so it wasn't as effective as originally designed. Jealous of your travel buddy because he can share the bed. Our 130-pound Newfy is not getting on the mattress with me or we're definitely looking at a busted seam.

I lost track of how many times I ended up paying idle fees when falling asleep at a Supercharger. I put my seat all the way back, pull a blanked over me and I'm out. Done that many times. On this long trip I have a self inflating camping mat. It's 3 inches when inflated which is just about enough to make it OK. I have some extra padding to even out at the 'step' from the folded back seat to the trunk area. It's almost 3 inches in a Model S and can be quite uncomfortable. The good thing about the self inflating matt is you can roll it up in less than a minute and it takes up little space. I'm also trying to keep things simple.

On this trip, reminded how well Teslas do in the hills. Western PA full of big rises. Also reminded you have to be fast to grab a first. Had eyes on Washington PA - but long gone.

Dang, @YYZ-IAD, you zipped right past me on your Franklin Park visit and I could have stopped out for a visit but hopefully you had a good trip. You weren't able to grab Grove City and Hermitage on the drive to or from Macedonia? And naw, these are barely large hills around here as the fun hills are out in CO and elsewhere but thanks for visiting.

Spreadsheet updated and you moved up 1 spot.

Let's just say my travel companion hit the wall that evening on playing this game. Happy wife - happy life, so I made a bee line to destination Kent OH, and by-passed those 2 SCs. I plan to return to Buffalo soon where I will be teaching - so can do a day trip to grab those two. Yes - would be great to meet up!

Thinking of another day-trip.
It was heavy but moving well, more or less at the speed limit. It took us 1hr 19mins to go from Revere to Hyannis, which is 75 miles, so average speed of 57mph, which is not bad considering it included traversing Boston (in the tunnels). We were traveling from 9:33 to 10:52am. I-95 from Kittery, ME down to Revere was surprisingly busy, as was I-95 and the Merritt Parkway in CT.
