More Info: Supercharging.Life database

This is a friendly contest for Tesla owners to track the number of unique public Superchargers where they have charged

- "Supercharger count" is the number of unique public Superchargers where you have charged (just being there does not count), whether or not you were the person plugging in the vehicle (such as a Valet Parking garage or a Passenger) and whether or not it was your own personal vehicle (such as a rental, a loaner, or a friend's Tesla) as long as you were the one who drove >50% of the distance to reach the charger(s).
- The list of chargers in the supercharging.life database are the ones included in the game. If you think one should be added or removed from the list, let us know.
- Only chargers available to the public without special permission are included in the game.
- Chargers not connected to the grid are not counted.
- Doublet locations like the North/South Supercharger 'pairs' in CT, ME, NH, etc. count as individual locations.
- More than 1 charger at the same address, such as Lenox Square Mall (Atlanta, GA) or Montgomery Mall (Bethesda, MD) count as individual locations when they appear as a separate location on the Tesla Nav screen.
- Inactive competitors will be archived and removed from the leaderboard. Just post an update to be reactivated.

See Supercharging.Life database for info on how to post your own visits to the database (preferred), or post your locations with date visited to this thread and one of the admins will update your list for you. All visits must be posted to this thread - not just entered in supercharging.life. If you are the first in the game to visit a supercharger location, please post to the thread as soon as you can so others know it has been visited.

@AzEd, can you check your data? The Horse Race chart (see below for your charging history highlighted) and your competitor page on Supercharging.Life shows your first charge occurring on 4/21/2014 when there were very few competitors. This data indicates that the Leaderboard wayback was right. If you did not begin supercharging in 2014, can you work with @tes-s to get that cleaned up? When do you recall joining the game?

That is correct, my first supercharger was Buckeye on 4/21/2014 but I knew nothing about this competition until some time later, probably sometime in 2015. I did a bulk load of my supercharging history from my own records that I kept on an Excel spreadsheet. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that I was not the only one tracking superchargers visited. I just now tried to find my bulk load posting but I could not find it. I’ll be home from this latest trip on Sunday night and I can do some more searching to find out when I joined.

We all put a lot of effort into that original transition to dates from x's, so the data is probably right. Up to you whether to reaffirm it again. I see as high as 7th but the data during that time is pretty iffy as a number of competitors were not able to recover exact dates so we bundled visits at the end of the month when that was the case.

Oh right. I forgot that I wasn't allowed back into Canada until August. I guess I was only down to single digits in the US. It would have been roughly April 10th. Easiest way to look at it would be to see my last check in before I got home. I think I went to California last. According to your data, that wouldn't get me down to single digits though. Maybe like a dozen or so. I'll try to do better this time!
Yes - a baker's dozen on 5/27/21 in the US.

If you look at your sequential list of checkins in supercharging.life, you see that your last charger was Bend, OR (a first) on 5/28, then nothing until August. You had two checkins on 5/28 and six new ones opened - so on May 27 you were down to 13 unvisited in the US.

Is 6/21/22 any better?
Last one. We can take this offline. I'm doing this from data in the spreadsheet that only goes up to 7/14/2022. Perhaps we'll get a tool to work with supercharging.life (either in supercharging.life or Tableau) that will do the queries for you. These were your unvisited at of 6/21.

If you want to do it yourself in the spreadsheet:
1. Add a filter view
2. Filter by country (US, Canada) and state (remove AK, HI, PR).
3. Filter by open date (date on or before the date you want).
4. Filter by closed date (include blanks and date on or after the date you want)
5. Filter your column (include blanks and dates on or after the date you want)

Check-ins for 2022-07-23
- Monument, CO (#346)

I purchased a CCS adapter so I could have more choices when in cities such as Pueblo CO.
I tested the CCS adapter at an Electrify America (EA) station in Loveland CO by the Target store.
There are 3 pedestals (2 @350kW, 1@150kW). One of the 350kW pedestals was not working (Unavailable). I could not get any of the 350kW to work. I was successful using the 150kW charger. Yeah.
In Pueblo CO there is an EA station next to Sam's club. Same layout, and same result. I could not get any of the 350kW chargers to work at a fast rate. The first 350kW pedastal would charger at 14kW. The second 350kW would not recognize my EA iphone app so I had to use a credit card and would only charge at 2kW. The 150kW pedastal worked (and would recognize the EA iphone app) and I could charge close to 150kW.
I watched a non-Tesla person also attempt to use the chargers. Same result as me. So I do not know if there is a problem with my CCS adapter (official Tesla adapter from South Korea) or if EA chargers have a problem.
I had also tried a ChargePoint station in downtown Pueblo by the river walk. This was a 2 pedastal unit with 2 cables per pedastal. There were 2 Tesla's charging @8kW on one of the pedastals. The 2nd pedastal had of of the cables Unavailable. The last cable had a broken connector and I was unsuccessful. My wife and I had dinner on the river walk. Both of the Tesla's were still charging when we left.
So far... we have always been successful charging at Tesla Supercharger stations; some pedastals may not work so we always check to make sure we are getting a charge before we walk away.
The Tesla charging experience is so much better than others.
Praise Tesla.

Good day all! Please add the following:
7/22/2022. Williams Lake BC
7/22/2022. Quesnal BC
( then camped two nights at Bowron Lake)
7/24/2022. Prince George BC

Going to try for Prince Rupert tomorrow with my ChaDeMo adapter. Also between Quensel and Prince George passed going southbound 15 Teslas, not bunched together. I wondering if it was a group drive or just normal Sunday going home traffic. Also EVplus mentioned that he can’t get back into Canada till August, is there a limit on how often we Yanks are allowed in now?

He meant the border didn’t open for USAmericans until ~August 2021, after the prolonged Covid closure.

Weekend in NYC - primary purpose was finally, FINALLY getting a parents' weekend away - but I tagged a few superchargers "along the route".

Check-ins for 2022-07-21

- Stamford, CT (#87)

Check-ins for 2022-07-24

- Fairfield - Northbound, CT (#90)

Supercharging.Life is certainly convenient to use, and I'm super-impressed at how smooth the transition has been. Congratulations & thanks to everyone working on it!

@Bighorn got my brain going with this little grenade. After much flailing, I think I have a solution that also improved our Leaderboard.

I would appreciate you testing out the "Wayback Tool" to if it gives provides the results you expect. Set all three date fields to the date you want to revisit. There is a states cleared map and a map of all of your visits below that as of the time you set. At the bottom is a list of now-closed superchargers that were open at the time you selected. For example, on 8/21/2019, it appears you got down to just two unvisited superchargers in the USA and Canada! Does that seem right?

I worked on the Wayback Tool again today and think I have it working correctly. The dashboard has the cleared states map, a second map that is color-coded by year as of the date selected, and some tables below, including a table that shows the superchargers visited along with the date of visit and date of open. Keep scrolling down to see the tables. Everything is dynamic and will change as you move the date slider.

It took me forever, but I figured out how to join everything with a single slider. One consequence is you can select a date before your earliest charge. If you select such a date, your states-cleared map will get a little weird, but nothing breaks.

I'm reasonably confident everything is working correctly now. Hopefully, @tes-s will do some testing.

My next step is to try and create a dynamic map of the supercharger status, reflecting the network as it existed at a given date along with your visits and even unvisited status.

We have added a couple of local SoCal chargers this summer. Longer Tesla travel has only been to Mammoth, out most frequent destination.

6/8/2022Calabasas v3133
7/24/2022Pasadena Glenarm v3134

The local v3's are worth an occasional stop, but it's amazing how busy they are. I got the last spot out of 20 at Pasadena Glenarm about 10:15AM today. That one does not have a lot of nearby amenities so I thought it might be less busy. I noticed on the car map at 5PM today that 15 spots were open there. Lots of owners must be sensitive to the time-of-use rates.

You are really getting out there. I love to see it. I've traveled extensively in BC, but I never have made it out to Prince Rupert. Post a picture when you get there!

And yeah, I was talking about August 2021 in that post.
