Although I rang and found out yesterday I also just got the text to confirm allocation. Now just the wait for delivery date. What’s the sort of time between allocation and delivery date?

Was about 5 days for me. Allocation text on the 29th July, delivery text on the 3rd August.

Just an observation but I think the Tesla way is the correct way in selling cars. I would assume their data analysts can forecast demand and the production line would be geared up to that so late July and August orders if were over the forecasted demand of a particular spec would incur some delay. As I said, this is my observation and of course, unfounded suspicion.

No. Standard order. Ordered 22nd July. Assigned on 6th August. Delivery text straight after for 13th September.

Both my allocation and delivery texts were from Tesla.

I am lease and placed on the 30th, got the enterprise email on the 5th July and then delivery text confirmation on the 16th July for this month

How long should it take between the allocation text and a VIN appearing in your online account?

Got my allocation text last Friday. I found a VIN in the webpage source pretty much immediately after receiving the text. I haven't had anything appear visibly on the account though.

Got my delivery text yesterday. So I ordered on June 13th, got allocated 6th August, and I am picking up from Bristol on 2nd September.

I spotted my VIN in the page source the day before I received my allocation text. I’ve never seen the VIN anywhere else. Its not shown on my account page or any of the documents.

dito here im leasing a T3LR via Leaseplan received a e-mail confirmation and have to wait but as I'm having a long range and ordered 15th of July they told me delivery is around 2nd week of September and they text me when ship leaves Shanghai with the VIN nr and believe as its Leaseplan they do a home delivery straight from Southampton docks to my home.

I'm Lease too (LEX). Tesla give you all the updates and delivery schedules via text. Mine is being delivered to my house Sept 11. Tesla will contact you direct.

I’ve ordered through Leaseplan on 3rd June. Tesla have contacted me directly throughout, even to schedule delivery. I had to tell Leaseplan when the car was arriving
