If you use Chrome browser on computer, google a chrome extension - 'tesla vin finder'.How can you look for a VIN in the source code?
You have to call Tesla and ask them to add this off-menu item to your order. When I went to do a test drive the SA told me that the tow bar might not be available for long, once the Model Y is released Tesla might remove tow-bar as an option for Model 3. Best to call and check if you can still do this.Someone tell me how you guys are adding tow bars
Nope….Anyone with a lease car actually managed to get the CS chat to actually tell them what the VIN is?
I was more curious, I don’t plan on towing anything. Am sure you can buy after market tow bars unless there’s something particular special with the Tesla one.You have to call Tesla and ask them to add this off-menu item to your order. I am a long time lurker who cannot contain my excitement so had to make my first post. Shows on source code. Thanks to Mr M who not only has a huge amount of knowledge on the shipping and Tesla front but also makes me smirk at least once a day.GOT MY VIN!!

Was just curious, I don’t intend to tow anything. Surely you can buy aftermarket tows? Range on the Tesla is going to be about 3 milesYou have to call Tesla and ask them to add this off-menu item to your order. I know what you mean. I've had a succession of new cars for over two decades, but this one feels like buying into the future....This is possibly the most excited I have ever been about a car, even when I had to wait 8 months for my cayman that I ordered in 2007 and put me into financial ruin
Technically yes but legally no as it will be registered with a zero towing ability. Was just curious, I don’t intend to tow anything. Surely you can buy aftermarket tows? Range on the Tesla is going to be about 3 miles
