You can but once you start driving the WiFi in the Tesla will switch off and disconnect your hotspot. This is the gist I've gotten from the many YouTube videos I've seen

I thought you could get Spotify and Netflix by tethering to your phone and it was only satellite maps that you needed premium for?

It's a shame that iOS Shortcuts doesn't have an option to "turn on personal hotspot" when "connected to car bluetooth"! Just have to manually open the Personal Hotspot settings menu every time to get your car to connect to it, I think. Android won't have that issue

Now THAT I didn’t know! Spotify costs a tenner a month anyway so if you don’t already pay for a music service it makes the premium connectivity worth the price.

From what I have read, when in the Spotify app, you scroll down, and choose the option of "tesla account".

Obviously don't have my car yet to check this is how you log in, but that's basically what I haver read on here.

Hmmm, maybe they have now changed it, so you don't get the spotify Tesla account any more?!

It's on the top right side of the invoice just below "Scheduled Delivery Date". It is marked as "License Plate Number".

Maybe give it a day or so. looks like it has just been generated for me - I checked the reg number with online registration plate checkers and looks like it is new (not refreshed in all the systems yet).

Me neither! I have a final contract that sets out the PCP T&C’s and I was told that’s it now until I get my number plate details text over.

I didn't get the text but they gave me the reg on phone when I called them today. I have 26th Nov delivery they said I should get text within 10 days of delivery.

It's not the same though as you can only use it in the car. If you have your own subscription then you can use it on multiple devices wherever you are.

Yeah, this one has always been confusing to me. If I remember correctly, I think it's always had that line about a paid subscription being required....however, I think this is more of a 'catch all' terms and condition note, considering things like Netflix, Disney+ etc are all also accessible via the car.

I guess we'll know for absolute certain when one of us gets the car!

I havent seen one person with an early November (Talia) delivery date that isnt the long range version on here. I think they are mainly late q3 long range orders (August) that didnt make it in time for the September ships essentially.

I’d given up hope of getting my M3LR before Christmas but then in the shipping thread there’s talk of boats waiting to load up at Shanghai so now I’m thinking there may be a slim chance still.
