Yes, I've also got B in my VIN 🤔...could someone clarify what the differences between B & K in VIN mean for the motors...I'm sure it's been spoken about in previous posts but there seems to be differences between vehicles in Q4 which newbies like me may wish to know about 😁
I used this web page to decode my VIN. There's a dropdown to select between motors and the K motor specifically references China, while the B motor doesn't. Other than that, not sure of any difference.

I believe it’s similar to the SR+ motor changes that were discussed in detail fairly recently. The B motor is the same ‘wound’ motor as the SR+ A motor. B denotes dual motor version.
Whereas the K motor is the new Chinese made ‘hairpin’ motor. Similar to the J motor in SR+ but K for dual motor drivetrain.

Which is better is not known. The hairpin design is cheaper to make apparently.

Hope that clears it up a little.

Hey I am due to collect my Model 3 SR+ on December 6th in Manchester. I ordered in October with expected delivery of Feb 2022 so was quite surprised that it has come forward by so much!

Does anyone know about flexibility in the collection date? I am currently about to move house, and sale of my current house is providing the funds for the deposit on the Tesla. I am due to move on the 3rd December so its pretty tight and the moving date is not fixed yet so could slip. I have emailed the Manchester Trafford Centre collection centre (no other contact info besides email) but not had a response after 2 days. I am hoping to make the date, but at the very least I need to move the time back a bit due to work commitments.

Just wondering about others' experiences in changing dates/times for collection.

I also saw a couple of comments elsewhere about potentially being able to schedule a delivery instead of collection. I live in Leeds/Bradford area so again just wondering if anyone else had experience of originally only having the option to collect but then being able to change it to delivery later?

Any help would be much appreciated and thanks in advance
Is your family an option? Could you lean on them and pay them back once the house matter is completed?

Getting really frustrated at lack of communication from Tesla. Order (grey m3LR black, aero, Manchester pick up) placed on 12/10/21 and nothing yet. No vin in source code. Tried calling customer services this morning but just cut off after 15 mins of hold. Anyone else in a similar boat? I've seen some people say they got in touch on live chat...can't find that anywhere!
Same boat as you Richard. Ordered a blue M3LR, white interior, Aeros for Manchester pickup on 08/10/21. Zero correspondence so far.

Managed to get through on the CS number this evening and spoke to Shane who confirmed no VIN number yet but likely to get delivery text in the next 1-2 weeks for collection mid to late December.

We shall see…

Heya all, new to the Tesla fam and forums.

I received my Vin and collection date of 11th December. Ordered 19th October SR+ white, black seats and 18” wheels.

I wondered what car I would actually be receiving on the 11th would it have heated seats, wheel and the 317mile range currently advertised on the website. I have CS a call and I had it confirmed my car is a 2021 “M” car however it will have the heated seats, wheel, matts and extra range. He did also say it would have have a 0-60 of 5.2 seconds saying I’m getting “the best of both worlds” really hope this is true!

Has anyone else had this confirmed regarding what model they will be collecting

Hi thanks for your reply. Sadly not no that's no really an option. If I have to lose my allocation then I can live with that but it would be a shame if I then did have to wait until Feb!

Still no response from Tesla I am wondering I its worth calling the Manchester sales & service.
