Guys, I am collecting this Friday 26th in Southampton but I have not received any collection call, is this normal?

Have you had any texts? I'm also getting mine on Friday from Southampton and have had 3 calls and about 3 texts all confirming the same thing!

Adapter ordered, already have a compatible OBDII bluetooth thingy, and will install scanmytesla. Adapter comes next week, pickup 11 December, will share results in the Collection/Delivery channel.

I've only had texts when I've moaned at CS and texts follow those moans. I've never just received a text from Tesla without my moans.

Had a text 3 days ago and yesterday with reg and confirming collection for next Tuesday. No phone calls

It connects inline in the back of the centre console. Pleanty of vids on YT showing how to fit it.

Oh so my existing OBD II won't just slot into the Tesla? I need to buy an adapter for it?! What is this, Apple?

I just noticed on my Order Form my Mobile number is missing the 0.

Is anyone else's like that, just want to make sure I don't miss anything lol.

Just noticed a missed call from Tesla. Message said could I call back. Held for 20 minutes expecting the news that it was damaged on the ship......

But no! Just asking to confirm my collection on Saturday!

Ours has a 0 infront of the mobile number.

In the Tesla App, it has +44 <then mobile number without the 0>.

Mine starts with +44

This is normal. You omit the 0 when dialling with a country code.

Managed to get a car here in Ireland that popped up for accelerated delivery. Was told Mid December still but now have a vin. Do we happen to know which ship they might be coming in on?

I managed to get a cancellation that was due for delivery 20-24 December (assume I'll be roughly the same now).... so based on that think we are on GRAND DAHLIA or PARADISE ACE.... there are other Ireland peeps with earlier deliveries the week before so can't be sure

Thanks for the info. Probably worth another call to Tesla to see if they can advise more so. I assume you don't have a delivery date booked yet so?

Honestly, the reality is you should do it 14 days before, you don't want any bank delays to delay you collecting your new car (fraud triggers, money going missing, etc etc).

2 days is cutting it fine, it is doable, but 7 days would be much better.
