Someone just pointed out the obvious on Facebook that may hurt some people's feelings here (who have been waiting a while).

Plenty of ?new/used 3P+ available right now for purchase, collect ASAP. Including white interiors.

Well, my exact P3+ model is there. In Sydney, to boot. So much for the no Australian stock excuse. Might see if I can get a human on the phone. What happened to get you in the first available model we can match you with?

These are Australian stocked ones. Ready to go. Get em' while they last. I think we are now approaching supply/demand parity.

Even tells you where they are located ie: APAC-AU-VIC-Altona-AutoNexus

When you click purchase you see the actual VIN numbers... https://www.tesla.com/en_AU/model3/order/5YJ3F7EC8LF587495
My exact vehicle on the list. Their stock control and allocation really are garbage.

They are all 2020 models (grey 20" and the L in the VIN). Seems they came off the same boat as the next lot of performance ones to be delivered this month. Seems like Tesla built more the performances than the orders this time.

Just a reminder for those getting their P3+ cars with grey wheels.

Whoever wants to swap for a new pair of silver 20’s I’d be up for it and will pay the swap cost. Located in Melbourne.

Removed straight after delivery (as I currently have 18” on) so it would be a like for like swap.

Woo Hoo! Got the delivery call. I moved the 13th to 16th. I think my order did not take too long, so hopefully all those waiting for ages are getting a nice Christmas present as well.
I guess I've graduated off the wailing wall.
Was your car on ANL Tongala? Hopefully I will get a call this week... delivery on the 13th would be great for me, my first real drive in it would be up the coast on a long-planned trip that weekend. And if it’s delivered the week after... it won’t be :) but still a nice Christmas present.

You know I forgot to ask which boat it was on! Of course that info is useful to those still waiting. I'll try to speak to my delivery guy.
From reading your other posts, it's "almost certain" ;) that you'll get the call today to tomorrow. Maybe you can ask for the delivery slot on the 13th that I turned down.
I've also asked for delivery a week earlier so I can drive this car on my trip, but I know that's pushing it!

Look up your VIN in VedaPrime’s spreadsheet and it will tell you which boat it was on:

AUNZVInTracking

And if it’s ambiguous (your VIN is in a range that could be on one of two boats) you can PM VedaPrime your full VIN and he can tell you which boat it was.

hi all, officially graduated from this thread. -picked up SR+ w/FSD (Oct 3rd build 4880xx) last week from Alexandria NSW. Basically a 3 week wait from ship docking (9th Nov) to delivery (27th Nov) (assuming no other issues)

- off topic but few useful tips i hope - at delivery Tesla will run thru the cars features, but don't get distracted as they'll only give you less than 15 min to drive it out and on your way.. take a friend to sit in for you and listen to them and use this time to run your eyes across all panels, fittings, finish and get them to take photos before you sign on their ipad. btw i spent 2 hrs just making sure they got all details of scuffs, etc since at the end the car on delivery day needs to look and be its best it will ever be (excluding any after market improvements of course)

- forget about asking delivery specialist to organise any accessories prior to delivery (they'll just say there's a big back log on blah - i tried to get them to take my money and have them ready in the car on delviery day - they asked me to email service - bad bad bad service by delivery team and completely contradictory information to service centre personnel)

- after accepting delivery, park your prized new possession and walk across to service centre next door - most friendly lot (well at least at Alexandria) - they had all accessories i needed e.g. floor mats, caps / bolt covers to replace aero covers, and repair kit pump and canister.

Mind you all this during what was a fairly quiet time with not the mad end of quarter rush.(it could be much much worse in the week of xmas/boxing day) - hopefully most folks will get their cars the week before for a none rushed delivery.- otherwise it may be worth pushing out to Jan (if you can hold out any longer :) ) as no one wants the headaches during this already hectic and busy period just dealing with xmas silliness season)

good advice you gave. But this one below goes a bit against the science of luck. :-D
