I tried the same and it would have moved my delivery back two days from Thursday to Saturday. Needless to say I didn’t go with it!

Bought a real carbon fibre cover and then they changed the trim to go into the doors as well! Now have bought CF wrap to do the doors but no ideal!

Now that is exciting! Thoughts they’d have to be in the country to do that.

Nope, No formal delivery date text yet. Talked to another Irish MP3 order who got an update form his lease company the 27th July. Hoping it’s an error on their part as can’t see any cars being delivered in July as no boats will be arriving.

Also noticed the invoice in my Tesla Account has now been credited and then reissued with the VIN on it!

That’s the one I have my eye on based on when Irish VIN’s were issued. But I could be completely wrong.

Seeing in the Shipping forum that its the VIN numbers 235**** that are being delivered. My M3P VIN is 243 which seems to make sense that they did a large production run for the RHD M3's and then moved onto M3P thus the much later VIN. Is that how VIN's work?

I agree it’s odd. There is no way they did a M3P production run and had exactly the number of Irish models left and no surplus to send to the UK. Unless they took the Irish vehicles from an Australian production run. My gut tells me the Irish cars may be earlier but they have added a longer...

Great work in fairness! Agree it's positive that the are producing Performance cars. I do still wonder if they have changed anything else for the performance model that nobody has thought about yet. It's been a long gap in tooling......

The one thing and probably only thing we know is that if they can deliver before quarter end they will. I've seen June mentioned now a few times by Tesla so my guess is its going to be early June before we starting seeing any deliveries. I hope they do something for people who lose the €5k grant...

Uh oh! June is not good at all for Ireland. A few days later and you lose the 5k Grant! Going to be seriously rethinking my order if it runs beyond June as an additional 5k is probably pushing it beyond what I'm willing to pay.

So we’ll have to wait and see. Not having to worry about charging to 100% materially affecting you battery life would be a big plus IMHO.

I can’t see that happening given the site still shows the Turbines on the order page. I’d be very pissed off as they are one of the reasons I stuck to the P instead of the LR with speed upgrade.
