This just isn't true though is it? Every car manufacturer is using screens now, and all other manufacturers, including JLR are using dashboards. Which Tesla have scrapped. If they were influenced by Tesla the interior would, you know, look like a Tesla.

I do think there is a bit of the fanatic in some of the posters on here. Yes the Tesla is a good car, but it seems odd the way they can't acknowledge the problems it faces or think they have inspired other cars with their barren interior design

I'm sure Norton Canes has chargers if you want to stay on the toll. Sometimes I think we don't help ourselves by favouring superchargers. I used to when I first got the car but now just use whatever charger is best for my route

That's why I said extreme version. There must still be some battery heating before you can dump 7kW into the battery

Out of spec did something with DC chargers that showed this. Extreme but they took a cold soaked M3 and plugged it straight into a charger. It took 45 minutes of drawing power before it would start charging the battery. Maybe it's a mini version of that

I know Polestar does OTA updates for more than infotainment. They improved their charge curve with one once.

I genuinely chose Tesla because I couldn't get a polestar 2 for over a year. Now they have updated their charging curve to be acceptable, it's a decision I really regret

I get this too. Just speculating but I wonder if it could be because the cabin is really cold? (For the first time since getting the car I've had to leave it outside) and it's trying to slowly heat things up before allowing you to set a hotter temp?

I’ve not noticed this. In fact I’ve had something different with the latest update. It’ll no longer automatically pull on to a slip road. It now asks you to indicate. Has anyone else had this?

No doubt the efficency of a modern tesla is stunning and the drive train and charging g curve very good. But I'm not understanding what the heat pump benefit is, in the middle of summer? Am I missing something? Does it help the AC compressor too?

Maybe but mine seemed "ok" before then too. Not great, not amazing but OK. Which sadly is the standard you have to hope for with Tesla tech. I guess "ok" translates as "in spec"

The auto wipers I agree. They aren't that bad anymore. The auto main beam is literally dangerously bad

Luckily they did come and collect the car so I didn't have to illegally drive it. It's the lack of acknowledgement that really gets me. No accountability at all and makes me worry they'll do the same to others.
