For Xpel Ultimate PPF I have gotten quotes for Model 3, Front only $2300, Full anywhere from $4800-$6000. Autoflex Spray Shield $2000 for full car. Can't seem to find a reason PPF is better.

Tesla's is all plastic and this one is metal.

How has the AutoFlex Spray Shield held up? I am thinking about getting it on my Model 3, seems to be a smarter financial choice than XPEL/3M PPF.

You might be, but your going as close to the front as possible. It will be worth it to not have to car wait so long for paint fix. Sucks having it so close then be pushed out again, that's for sure.

I got Sto N Sho to have it as low as I can as to preserve as much of the front end as possible. Unfortunately NY isn't as forgiving when it comes to front plates compared to Cali.

Depending on value of trade it maybe beneficial to trade in to Tesla for two reasons. It is widely reported that they match CarMax quote and they apply the trade in at a pre tax price so it could be a decent amount if high enough number. Obviously if its low then the convenience to get it done...

I'm sure thats part of it but I think transport to the east coast is the biggest bottle neck. That combined with WA and Canadian priorities, I'm just in a bad spot. I am a bit upset but know I will have it sooner rather than later and have no choice but to wait it out of I want the car.

No its doesn't reset at least according to the Tesla rep that made the change but he did state that it could delay the vehicle. Several other TMC members changed from Aero to Sport and got VINs very quickly, most same or next day.

I swapped from Aero to Sport on 4/20 partially in hopes of speeding delivery. Too late I guess, still waiting on a VIN since 3/28.
