Advice on my near future purchase

Go for new heat pump model 3 or y, sr will work for you. A used s from Tesla can be had for low 30s, especially at the end of this fiscal quarter and if new updated s comes out. Have you driven them all? That may instantly solve this

    New Buyer Questions

new car may have some serious upgrades styling wise, and when you add in new tech then maybe it becomes a much better proposition with potentially higher resale value as well. I’m keeping mine until cyber truck comes. I agree with others that 300 range is magic number and you don’t need much...

Best place to finance the solar panels?

Thanks for the link, I saw it before. I think my best option is cash or credit union. What are the rates and terms i can shoot for? I have 780 score right now and decent income. Is there some magic place that loves to do these loans?

Best place to finance the solar panels?

Just got notification that Tesla is starting my instal project. I have cash but want to consider financing. where are the best spots to look for financing? I went to my credit union site and didn’t see anything.

Tesla Richmond-Glen Allen VA - Due Diligence

My s60 and s85d has had some work done there and via mobile ranger. So far they did everything and I’m happy. Not sure about the seats but they always went the extra mile on everything else I asked. If it’s a judgement call I’d expect them to do the right thing

Richmond Virginia not able to get solar panels? [from tesla]

It tells me I have an order but seems like they’re not servicing my area yet. I’m just curious if they’ll start servicing it this year or next year next week? :-) The $100 is a moot point

Richmond Virginia not able to get solar panels? [from tesla]

I decided to order a 12kw system but seems like Tesla solar isn’t available in my area according to the site. Tells me we aren’t in your area but then the website did tell me that i have an order number and $100 deposit. can anyone shed light on this? Can I expect an install in near future?

Can powerwalls be added later to install?

I think a medium install would work for my current situation. I’m wondering if I want to add powerwall or other branded battery packs later to the setup, is that possible? The Tesla software is only gonna work with their products only, right?

With model y base $39k model out, will cybertruck be next? I hope that’s not the case, but I’m waiting on one, dual motor would be overkill for me.

Looking to buy, what to lookout for and what changes are done over time

Unless you have concrete plans for it, don’t worry about free super charging. For most people it’s not useful. also, best deals are on colors that are least desirable like brown or red. Buy one of those, save 5k or more (I saved 8k on a brown) and if it bothers you just wrap it for $2500 just...

Looking to buy, what to lookout for and what changes are done over time

I think you need to tell us about some of your constraints like pricing. I bought two model S is used in the last year both from Tesla and love them. I would find the cheapest one that works for you with the longest warranty direct from Tesla. In about 30,000 miles of driving between the two...

Looking for Guidance on a Used Model S

I think the cheapest 60 D/75D with a four year warranty find from Tesla is your best bang for the buck. In the future you’ll probably have bigger depreciation versus the cars that don’t have full self driving so just having auto pilot one or two won’t make much of a difference. As of some...

What are your thoughts on the 2012 P85? Headache of a purchase? What to look for?

Use the 3rd party sites like ev cpo to score a car direct from Tesla. I’d only go for 2012 if it was below 25k and had motor replaced already and strong battery.

    The used market is confusing

Id not worry about options too much. Here is what was important to me; Autopilot Best warranty available free super charging, wheels and colors are more of unnecessary extras for me. Any car from end of 2014 and up should have autopilot. Also build quality went way up (handles, body work...

    The used market is confusing

I bought two used from Tesla, picked up both to avoid the $2k delivery fee and have loved both of the cars. Both had some scratches and small issues, but all were expected and accepted since I saved about $4-7k per car and got longer warranty over the used. what’s your budget?

Rationale for purchasing a used MS 60d

Cpo cars have no location now?

Has anyone had luck calling Fremont office and getting them to locate a car? Can they see cars we can’t? I was looking to buy a 75d next month and now my plan is screwed. Maybe at end of September for some end of quarter madness we can get some deals?

Cpo cars have no location now?

Does anyone have any good ideas on how to shop around for an extended warranty car from tesla? Call fremeont sales office? Any one know how to circumvent the $2000 fee? I was looking forward to taking a trip to grab a car and saving some cash
  29. I

Cpo cars have no location now?

They do check the used/cpo. That’s why they come with a nice direct from Tesla warranty. For example a 2016 car with under 50k miles would get an additional 4 year and 50k mile warranty on top! That’s why I want to buy from Tesla and not a regular used from a person or dealer

    Sanity Check - Free Supercharging

I’ve had my car for 5 months/ and 8000 miles and used it 3 times all on the first day. I think it’s a total gimmick. Even if you pay per use it’s still cheap. Cpo cars have no location now?

Does anyone know what’s going on with Tesla cpo? All locations of cars are disappearing. That means now we have to pay 2000$ on top of every car? Do we need to call Fremont sales office and talk to someone about it from now on? I was hoping to get an early ap1 car for around 30k or a 75d...

    2014 S85 pricing question

How many miles are "too many" miles for a used MS?

I think if it’s 2014 and up car that had all of the regular stuff like motor, handles and screen replaced then should be ok. I’d take a car with 110k on it if it was priced right at 23k let’s say.

    Tesla Used Inventory Down 30%?

At the end of the last quarter (about two weeks ago) we got down to almost no cars. Like 30! Now it’s over 150 and decent deals pop up. There’s a facelifted model s in San Diego for 46k right now! A couple 2014 cars just sold for 32k. So the new quarter has brought deals. I am starting to think...

    Tesla Used Inventory Down 30%?

Online and YouTube everyone keeps saying how awesome the 3 is. I’m sure it is but when I sat in one right after my s it seems small and cheap. The internet seems to prefer 3 overwhelmingly, that’s why I’m asking to make sure I’m not the only one. :)

Trying to get a replacement drive unit

    Tesla Used Inventory Down 30%?

We are over 100 cars! Just saw a facelifted s75 for 46k and a cheap s85 just sailed away for 32k! The deals are starting to trickle in! On a random note, am I the only one who doesn’t want an m3 and only a model s?

Used 2016 Model S 70D Reference: Is this a good price?

I think the main differences between a 2014 and 2016 cars are the facelift and a few of the components are marginally better. If you don’t care for facelift, dual motors and range you want to consider any 2014 and 60 and higher model. Prices should start falling fast as the raven refresh is...

    Tesla Used Inventory Down 30%?

I’ve been checking with Tesla-info because they seem to pull Tesla sites data less and I can see that there have been some quite decent deals that have already passed through. I just bought a cpo model s and love it. Had few minor scratches on it but price was spectacular and having the full Tesla warranty is a real asset. They replaced my motor and axles already.
