When we see the step to the 120, I'm assuming that'll be with the 2170s based on Elon's comments. So probably after Model 3 launch when the GF is pumping cells out like sausages. I suppose it's possible we might see a good pause before the top end sizes jump. Can't wait to see the 120...
Are talking about changing an order, or upgrading your delivered car?
It is now possible to get textile seats in combination with the Premium UpgradeI challenge anyone to find a good for customer point of view in this change... less trims... tons less combos... more price...
I cant see them letting anyone with a delivered car return it to order a new one. Something is wrong here.Upgrading my delivered car I received a week ago.
He was asking what it would cost to upgrade the battery on his already delivered car.
Are you theorizing that from now on 90s will have 100 batteries software downgraded? While that sounds reasonable, do you have anyrealistically there are now two battery packs, the 75 and 100 with software unlock for all other options
That was going to be my advice to you, too: Keep it. Peace of mind is pricelessI'm going to stick with the Supercharging .
In this case, "upgrading" would mean selling/trading in the brand new car and ordering the latest one. Many Tesla owners have been following this upgrade path for the last 3+ years.I cant see them letting anyone with a delivered car return it to order a new one. Something is wrong here.
I was expecting them to follow the same trend of allowing a customer to spending more money without losing features / benefits or their place in line.
They have drawn a clear line between the 90D with free supercharging for life, and the 100D without it. If they hadn't, there would have been many unhappy customers, jealous of the lucky few who got both.I apologize if this has already been mentioned up-thread and I missed it but I wonder why Tesla didn't let the free unlimited supercharging overlap with the 100D for a little while? That would have been a huge demand lever.
