90D Deliveries Begin Early 2016

Pretty clear that P90D are being sent out first. 90D will be next but "early" certainly wont mean January. Let the Manufacture team, the QA team and the Delivery team do their jobs.
Order a Ford Mustang to your choice of options simply because there isnt one on the lot and you will wait 8 weeks. They push out a hell of a lot more mustangs than 750 a week to

Source? Leaks from the factory indicate that every 2nd-4th car off the line is already an X. They could be building close to 500 a week already if the leaks are accurate.

I'm not saying it isn't correct, but what makes Chowdry such a trusted authority? Just another rumor from another analyst. Besides he said "at least 300". Last time I checked, 500 was at least 300.

There's also a "may have" in there.

If they are building 500 a week right now, they won't get to customers for a few weeks. You think they instantly show up in their garage from the assembly line? Give me a break....

Confirmed by Tesla today: only 208 Model X delivered in 2015; only 507 produced since the reveal at the end of September; and in the last week of December, Tesla produced 238 Model X, not 500+.

Well if you are going to come up with three time periods then?

Early = Jan - Apr
Mid = May - Aug
Late = Sept - Dec

But then there is Tesla periods which don't resemble any known time sequences.

The Model S and X share assembly line and they delivered over 17000 cars under q4 so they do probably work on high speed right now or did at least under q4.

Looking at the TM.com forum it seems a Production P90D in the 9000 range received a vin....that was pretty fast.

wonder if it means his vehicle is going to production.

It it could also suggest that certain configurations of 90D may be getting vin emails in the next 30 days

decifer at will from my signature below. I'd like to know what the hold up is too
