Any US Model 3 Performance deliveries in 2019?

I ordered in February. Then the price changes came. So I clicked “edit order” and got the same car at cheaper price. So I added AP (which for me- is now perfect as I have zero interest in FSD or summon).

Absolutely loving this car.

Cool! I just got a call from Tesla that my car will be delivered on Sunday and available to be picked up or deliver on Tuesday? Crossing my finger that there will be no delays.

I am leaning towards picking it up in the service center just in case it will have some issue.

Model 3 Performance ordered on April 3rd
Midnight metallic
White interior
No autopilot/self-driving

Currently no VIN, just the “we are drafting up your contract” message when I login.

It’s too bad they still have the delivery timeframe “within 2 weeks” on their website. Just have to hurry up and wait I suppose.

I ordered a M3 Red Performance 3 weeks ago today. Still nothing. The sales offices know nothing and have no info on deliver dates or manufacturing. According to Costa Mesa, CA, there were no new models in the state... just a few demo models ... I am beyond frustrated, but it appears that people have been waiting longer than me...

I am very close to you location-wise, ordered same Red Performance (Black interior) and ordered on April 6, with no updates either (other than price reduction)...feel free to join us in the Performance Waiting Room thread!

@Chrisedge what did you get as far as price reduction? They most recently told me I couldn't get the price adjusted until I had a VIN assigned and they drew up a contract. So my Tesla account is still showing the old price, and I'd really like to have it fixed before they change their minds again.

My car was $65,000 configured before the price change. (Ordered on 4/6, Performance + Red Paint + Autopilot) After Price Change it went to $61,500. I contacted my Sales Rep the day then went down (4/12) , and she said there was no need to re-order, and the new price was reflected on 4/15.

Still waiting on VIN :)

Think you will get autopilot now that its included...

Update:
Model 3 Performance
Midnight Metallic,
White interior
Full self driving

Ordered April 3, 2019

VIN assigned (allegedly) April 19, but never updated to my account. I called 2 times on 2 different days since then to ask about this, both times I was told it would update within 24 hours.

Called today, VIN has been mysteriously unassigned. Spoke to someone new, got VIN re-assigned, was told it will update within 24 hours and a delivery specialist will be calling me after this is done.

It’s amazing how depending on who you talk to you either get someone who doesn’t know anything or you get someone who is helpful and checks on things...i.e. some offer no help at all and just tell you to wait, others can get a VIN assigned. Regardless, I can’t help but feel like I am getting the complete runaround.

I will wait until tomorrow to see if any progress is made, then will call back if nothing. It’s hard not to let an experience like this make me regret a 67K purchase and think about cancelling. Somehow I think Porsche would handle things much differently.

Ordered my red P3D with black interior on March 20, 2019. Delivery to Kansas City. They assigned a VIN a few days later to a car being delivered to Indianapolis from the factory. They were going to transport it to me for free. It was damaged during shipment when it arrived in Indianapolis and had to be partially repainted. There was no discount on the car after being damaged so I told them I wasn’t interested in taking delivery of the repainted car. That was something like March 24th. Still waiting for my car. I got an update call from Tesla delivery today stating they had no update or idea when the car would be delivered. Tesla really needs to update their delivery estimate system because the “within 2 weeks” window is simply not accurate.

It sounds like we ordered the same car on the same date. They haven't made any Performance Red since around March 20th from what I have been able to gather, and also no ETA. Join the waiting party in the Model 3 Performance Waiting Room.

You can also view others who are waiting and add your details to the Google Sheet.

Ordered a P3D+ with FSD; Red with white interior, on March 17th. Still no VIN. Had multiple conversations with delivery contacts and none of them had any information that was worthwhile. BTW, I ordered on 3/17 just before the price increase. Sometime around 4/12 the price dropped, so I called and they willingly updated to the lower price on my order. My delivery date keeps moving every ~10 days. Latest date is May 10th. Last month, my sales rep from the local Houston store called and said they found a matching car in Atlanta, but it would cost me an additional $1000 to transport it to Houston. I said, thanks but no thanks.

I would have said yes.
