Supercharger - Bethany, MO

I have an Model X 90D and I have made the trip between those 2 Superchargers many times. In winter, with a 15 mph headwind and temperatures 10-15 below zero, it's not possible to make it. There is a casino in Osceola with RV parking that we have used.
The Casino is 42 miles south of the West Des Moines charger.

There are Level 2 ChargePoint chargers at the Eagleville Travel Center just a few miles north of Bethany too. I've never used them but saw them for the first time about a month ago.

I stopped by to check out he Eagleville L2s and they work just fine. I also added them to PlugShare including some pics. They're part of the KCP&L CleanCharge Network which for many stations is no longer free. These are fee-based for $0.15/kWh plus tax which was set by the PUC (not KCP&L). There's a diner inside, so if it's a stretch, stop in for a snack and get 20 MPH range (they're 6.6KW).

Another option is to top up at the Liberty, MO PriceChopper, DCQC but you'll need a CHAdeMO adapter (and it's $0.25/kWh).

Just stopped by the Kum & Go in Bethany. They have had all the underground utilities marked around the location since I was through last month. Hopefully that’s in preparation for the SC installation.

Thanks for the update. That is positive news. Hopefully they will get it done before our next trip from Overland Park, KS to Verona, WI in few months.

Anybody seen the site recently?
I stopped at the Kum & Go last week and asked the Manager on duty if she happen to know the status. She said the chargers will be located on the concrete area on the northwest end of their location. Wasn’t aware of when they would do the install, but she thought the process would go quick, since they have good access to electrical. (Like she really knows...)

I get my Model 3 in about 4 weeks and drive from Overland Park, KS to Des Moines on a regular basis, so I will be very happy when this one gets done. I wouldn’t bet on seeing it up and running until around mid-summer at this point.

Thanks for the update. This will be very useful to us when we visit our son who is in Verona, WI. We live in Overland Park, KS. Last time when we went to see him in our Tesla S (85 KW) we had to charge up in Des Moines and and we had less than 25 miles of charge left. Bethany, MO and Dubuque, IA supercharges will significantly cut down our drive time. Hope both of them will be operational in a month or so.

Dubuque, IA is showing up on Tesla SC web map as active with 8 stalls. It did not show up on my Tesla NAV this morning. Do we have to get MAP update for it to show up?
Being on the website is sufficient. It wasn't in the Nav or on the website when I posted, so it left us wondering since we had no pics or anything either.
