mine moved to August 27 - September 13
Sharing some thoughts.
Steel28’s order date is June 4th. Mine is June 12th (almost a week apart)
Steel28 got his VIN on Aug 7th, so I think I will get mine VIN around Aug 14-16 (the same way a week apart from Aug 7th)
Steel28 has scheduled delivery for Aug 21st. As of now mine EDD Aug 28 - Sep 13.
As Aug 28th is exactly a week apart from Aug 21st.
So fingers crossed.

Major update

Ordered my Model Y and hopefully it is on the way
  • Long Range All-Wheel Drive
  • White Multi-Coat Paint
  • 19’’ Gemini Wheels
  • All Black Premium Interior
  • Seven Seat Interior
  • Autopilot
Order placed: July 14
EDD has been moved up and down a few times. Now it's been stable for a few days.
August 10 - Estimated Delivery: August 25 - September 08

August 12 - Estimated Delivery: August 26 - September 08

So I called the Service Center as my Service Advisor hasn't responded ro my emails.

They told me not to go by the account dates and they checked in their system and gave me a delivery date of October 21st. A whole month and a half longer. Ahhhhhh.

Just checked my account again

Estimated Delivery: October 14 - November 03

Did find out the 7 seater doesn't come with any mats not even carpet for the 3rd row seats and will have front mud flaps and rear ppf installed.

The only silver lining is that by the time I finally get it the car will count as a 2022 model and not a 2021.

It’s too bad - they had this exact spec in transit to Montreal. Posted yesterday for sale I believe. Just checked and I don’t see it any longer.

@JulesVerne let us know how your delivery went
Picked up my MY today. Handed my red folder with paperwork and registration in it at the main check-in area and walked around the back to another check in area, where the cars awaiting delivery are lined up. (many running climate control, i guess for comfort of those picking up.)
I handed them the BankDraft, and after I said I'd check out the car before signing, they handed it back, and I said, no YOU hold onto it.. (see below, end of my story)
I said I had a checklist, and would like to check over the car before signing. They said no problem.. handed me the registration, and the 2 card keys and basically said have at her.
I spent at least 1 hour checking it over, and comparing notes with a couple who were picking up their white MY just down the row.
Mine looked great. A white mark on the red below the "grill" (very tiny). I thought it was a paint chip with white showing through, but they got some cleaner and it came off. Same for some tape residue on passenger door, probably from their transport wrap. They cleaned it off. Only "Panel Gap" issue, appeared to be on the lower edge of the lift gate.
running my hand along the rear quarter panel, across the corner of the lift gate, both sides, showed it appeared to be raised a bit. That also mean that the tail light, attached to the lift gate, did not line up (1/4" off, maybe) with the tail light on the car body.
They said, simply report it in the app, and make sure to say it was discovered in Delivery pickup, and they would do a "lift gate" adjustment. I have done that, with photos, and picked an appt date, and am waiting for their "assessment".
Note: I checked this on the couples MY and their taillights, lined up perfectly, so I know it is possible. (Their only issue, minor, seemed to be a gasket under the taillights that did not seem to be lined up properly, .i.e. you could see a "ripple" of gasket in the gap above left and right taillights Not sure if it was going to be fixed. I supposed if not seated properly, it could leak there!)

My only other issue, was that I had driven to the Service center on Thursday and requested that the front license plate holder be left off, so I could use my own (Mainly so I could get a better PPF wrap, and so my plate sits in front of the body (I'm using a SnapPlate holder)).
My MY had the front hold and plate installed, so they said, they'd remove it with a heat gun, but it ended up being easy to pull off (they did this for me) cause of the sun. They also gave me an unused plate holder at my request, in case I decide to ditch the SnapPlate and put it back on the body. That was nice of them.

I signed my papers, and after asking a few questions (how do I get wipers to squirt. (on the stalk on the left) How do I mute the radio (left button on steering wheel). They marked my car delivered and I was then able to get into the app correctly connected to my car. They checked my referral, and said I should see the "miles" tonight in my loot box.
They had free "Bubbly" (Buble?) and Gatoraid, cause it was warm. There was no pressure from the Service Advisors/Pickup Specialists (Chevy and A.J.)

The only wrinkle in the story, is that about 30 minutes later, I got a panicked phone call from A.J. saying I had not left them my bank draft. I said I had, and that it was in the folder. He said "no it wasn't". I explained I handed it back to Chevy when I went to check the car. He said he'd look and call me back.
2 minutes later, he called back saying they found it!!
Seems they were frantic, that I had driven off in a car with out paying, and their necks were on the line!! But problem solved...

Car drives like a dream. Getting used to the 1 pedal driving. That regen, really is strong!!!

Got the app set up on my wife's phone too (just use your own email and password in the app and she is "in")

Tried to sign up for Teslafi, before I left the lot, but it didn't seem to take. Tried again at home, and got signed up, so the only drive I am missing is the one TO home. (8km maybe!)

Paperwork had said 30km on odometer, but I guess that it a place holder. The odometer read 6km in the lot.
I have now driven 60 km on errands, in town, and frustratingly the Autopilot cameras still have not completed "calibration" so still dont see visuals of surrounding vehicles, and can't yet use cruise or autopilot. (a blue circle around the steering wheel icon is like 98%, with just a tiny little section not filled in!!)
Yes, car has Bioweapon defense mode (on screen) and hepa filter in Frunk.
PPF on rear door corners, and front mud flaps.
Headlights are NOT new (i.e. no projector lens in corner..i read only Performance get those). No passenger lumbar support. and i have no way of checking if the battery is bigger.

I wish you all the best in getting your VINs. it has been a 12 week journey for me, and the car is now happily charging in my driveway.

Good Luck... Andrew

Much appreciate your detailed write up!

Picking MY LR this Saturday at Vaughan SC.

Also requested front license plate not to be installed lol. Printing checklist shortly and will take my time inspecting my spaceship.

I did appreciate that there was no pressure. I initially offered to just inspect the outside (thinking it would be locked and they wouldn't give me the keys without signing), but that's when they said here's the cards, take your time.
