My four week window has been sitting steady at 5/15 to 6/19 for 6 weeks, bumped by two weeks at 7 AM today, 6/6 to 7/9

While I support this to be on par with the US. But this is a can of worms. I can see a whole slew of LR orders switching to P causing more disruptions to our queues that are already not so great.

Agreed! I’m curious to know if making a change will actually make a positive change to EDD.

Did you see the disclaimer in the article though? Orders placed before mid Oct still do not have this option. I order on Oct 15 and i dont see this link to edit. Not that i want to being so "close" to the finish line anyways. Dont want to risk being pushed back further...

Original EDD was Feb/22, then pushed as far as Nov/22, sat in Sept/22 jail for a long while, then May/22, then Sept/22 again, and two weeks ago it was changed to June 11 - July 09. Fingers crossed.

I don't have the option to edit my order. I wouldn't mind adding 7 seat configuration if I knew it would not impact delivery, but at this stage I feel like I'd probably get bumped back months by doing so.

Would the edit option only allow you to edit design (color, tow, seating color) on your existing order but not actually be able to edit say from LR to Performance? Or vice versa

Ok so here’s an alternate option which my wife found:

2017 MS P100D, red/cream, only 34k driven, never seen winter, loaded, 0-100 2.3 sec ludicrous+, free Scharging, EAPilot (basically fsd) 505km range, no tow, free LTE subscription, pano roof…83k.

As opposed to the 22’ MYP coming, blue/black, tow, AP not fsd, , coil susp and all glass roof not pano. But latest tech, no free SCharging, paid subscrip, paid Scharging, but full warranty…87.5k for me.

We’ve had MS in the family since 2016 so quite familiar with it. Literally the space of the Y in a hatchback sedan format. I’m still leaning to the MYP still but man this option a diff ride and this is the Fastest of the P100D line since they detuned max amps slightly for 2018-2020. The 505km range compared to 488km MYP will be net similar as the Y induction motors will be a bit more efficient.

Hmmm tough one!

Drive wise MS will be smoother and quieter. Older screen config and will likely have to upgrade to MCU2 (3k) cost. I’d also tint for $300 and chrome delete for $400. Battery and motors are warrantied until Jan 2026 as car was orig bought Jan 2018.

Thoughts ?
