I drove by the SC and saw my car in the parking lot. It says the build date underneath the VIN on the windsheild. How do you guys know your build date?
Congrats!!
Congratulations!!Went and picked it up from Kitchener today. Their lot has 14 white Model Y's, 2 Red, and 6 MSM ready for delivery. I took my sweet time (2 hours) to check everything and the SA was not pleased. My logic was I waited for 6 months, I'm doing my due diligence
I pointed out approx 16 medium to small cosmetic defects and they asked if I wanted the car or not (brilliant customer service). I took it and will raise a service ticket today. The boot is misaligned significantly. The front bumper isn't flush, the door isn't flush, and the rear tire guard was fit by an idiot (mostly dislodged when taking the car off the delivery ramp)
Overall I'm still content that there were zero interior faults and the car drives like a sports cuv. More testing tomorrow (spend 2 hours stuck on Gardiner today with autopilot engaged, so that's a win)

The HD Radio works — but the signal for City News is spotty in Burlington and drops out frequently. TuneIn local radio stations work when the car is connected to WiFi but switch to a prerecorded announcement saying they are only available in Canada when the car switches to LTEGood to know. So city news /aka Fm version of 680 won’t work then. We use tune in for that one station on our M3LR as we do miss 680 am.
Congrats! Similar when I picked up my M3 LR in Jan. Front hood and bumper misaligned, passenger door trim off, trunk lid misaligned, drivers door 1mm too low, interior was solid good news is they corrected all of this at our first service appt in a week. Service dept is more in line with repairing and fixing then delivery specialists who simply want to get their daily list checked off.Went and picked it up from Kitchener today. I asked through the text.Asked the SA for the build date. They can get down to the second even apparently.
shrinking window > boot to later date range lolMy EDD has changed twice! Last Friday 6/17-7/8. This morning it changed to June 13th - July 1st ! . still no VIN. MSLR. White on white/ FSD 19" ordered 1/8.
They likely want the best Q2 Numbers they can get!
What did you use to search for VIN in source?Delivery appointment scheduled for Jun 8th.
But still no official VIN on my order page.
I can still see it in the source code though.
Can I almost smell it??
I think you would have to wait until your EDD window becomes 7 days or less.Found I nothing. I’ll keep searching
