Hi!

I got pretty impressive pictures and videos from my friend who got a media tour of the factory and was permitted to take some pictures (we was forbidden in a lot of parts of the factory).

We almost get the VIN from one of the pictures ... a P90D Ludicrous ... probably a Founders (I'm guessing I see 24 in the last 2 digits of the VIN?).

Wow, wow, wow, amazing shots and footage! Thanks for sharing. Hope this does not violate his NDA agreement and was given permission to share! These are the first shots of actual Model X production! I took the tour the day of the launch but did not see any of this! Truly amazing!

A thread and blog site slaking our prurient interest in X-Porn - my favorite. As aija said, sure hope this was distributed with Tesla's understanding and approval.

***I claim dibs and copyright over "X-Porn"***

As hard as I squint and as much as I'd like to think it's mine (the blue paint, at least, is right), I can't make the last digit of the VIN look like a '3'.

Oh, well: it must be getting close. My current waking nightmare has my X sitting right at the end of the line when they shut down for the holidays...

Cool!! Still, while it confirms the thesis that they are in the process of producing Xs, it doesn´t shed light on when they will be finished/shipping. They could all be on hold till some missing part arrives next month or be shipped next week...

Well, at least we know that some Model X are being built. What the hell's the holdup? Elon's going to face some tough questions in January if the line doesn't start cranking out the promised "hundreds/month".

Elon said "at a rate of hundreds per month". To be a true statement, all Tesla needs to do is produce 6.6 (round up to 7) cars on 12/31. That's equivalent to a monthly rate of 200.
