Firmware 5.12

1.59.56 doesn't have this problem for me.

I double checked -- the version of 5.11 I had was 1.59.47 -- so perhaps that was a bug fixed later in 5.11...

The version of 5.12 the SC installed yesterday is 1.64.22. Its now showing all previously-used chargers, including the new added while I had 1.59.47 -- so was just a display bug...

Why don't they just install a HEPA cabin filter? To be honest, that would be much more effective than the ionizer.

There is a cabin air filter that removes particles including pollen, not sure if that qualifies as HEPA.

Agreed, though I guess they could have started adding the hardware prior to the software enabling the feature. Thus some people might see the ionizer option when they upgrade.

You have to wait. Often that's a good thing because by the end of most rollouts, there have been several revisions.

I bet the ionizer works only if you have a B or better battery pack. Otherwise, it's a 3000 retrofit option for A pack owners.

No it has all the ions as the 85 just only 2/3 or active at any given time. You can upgrade to the full ions by paying a fee.

SC updated from 5.9 to 5.12. Now the mobile app takes 4-8 attempts to wake the car.
