12.3 did something weird:
- on a two lane highway
- in right lane
- need to make left at upcoming light
- car waits a bit late to switch lanes
- car moves from right lane, across left lane, into left turn only lane with no blinker at all
Strange, blinkers have been 95% spot on w/ V12.
And then it just doesn't blink at all at this seemingly normal intersection.
How about Tesla first trains HW3 to avoid potholes and then we'll see what's possible? Today, FSD makes no effort at all to straddle them. That surprises me because surely they have training data of cars doing that very thing. Why didn't it translate to on-road behavior? Where's the "emergent behavior" for that?
I’m trying out an Ioniq 5 which has a lane assist which functions similarly to auto steer, but it doesn’t lock onto the wheel so you can still change the positioning of the car. Tesla should allow to do something similar for its driver assists.

Not really FSD related but on the last updateI received (2024.3.6) it notes Ultra wide band phone key support upgrade. Assume this will arrive for MS cars later? Intrigued by the notes outline.
